I don't care either way, except I love a clean shaven face with cologne.
I love a guys forearms, especially in those long sleeve white shirts rolled up, ready for work.

A question for the ladies?????
by Maverick ini have noticed that when the ladies post pictures of "hunks" these guys have no body hair.
when i was a gymnast many of the guys would cut their hair real short and shave their chests and stomachs and oil them to get a better, more defined look.
i always thought chest hair was "manly" so i never did it.

My family gave a great witness at my little sister's wedding...NOT!

the one who ran away from home at age 16 and the judge gave me custody.

That was amazing. Not only will your children take this experience with them but the extended family saw how badly your whole family treated you. I am sure they have a deeper love for the courage and love you showed in spite of how they were treating you.
A turning point in your life. Your children will never be doormats. Truly a great witness of the abuse suffered by many.

I would be really interested to find the facts that prove otherwise.
This is where I have been heading in my research.
It would be nice if the older ones could give some insight to this.
Wouldn't it be right to assume that if this were proclaimed as true that the organization was steeped in pagan beliefs when it started and that they are hiding more than they are willing to declare?
Maybe that is why JWS are not allowed to read anything that does not fit the mold. Just the literature and their version on the bible.
If people were searching and questioning then they would find out the answers of the original origins.

IN the 70's they proclaimed oral and anal sex wrong and those doing it would be disfellowshipped.
Needless to say those that were handicapped and that was the only way to please their mate were soon being taken in front of the elders.
How sad to take the only thing away from those who were disabled.
They retracted after about two years. I am not sure but you can find it in the bound volume I think around 1976. Watchtower, or 1977.

Governing Body - How did it come about?

it was bad enough when knorr was president but since the governing body came and in effect deposed him things have gotten progressively worse.. how exactly did the governing body come about?
they did not invent themselves, sure there was the board of directors but they did not have the kind of power the governing body has.

Hey the youth book wasn't around when I was growing up. I had the good ole truth book. Yee Haw.
Didn't go to sex classes. I was of the age to date and my mom informed me one day,if you come home pregnant I will cut it out of you. I turned around at her and looked, MOM, how would I get pregnant. She was shocked. Then she proceeded to say, "You see those two dogs in our front yard?" Yes, that is sex! So the sex talk was done and over.
Well this was not real cool as my ex and I well....what was the hole it belonged in? We were both stupid, uneducated. My kids know. Yep I told them.
