i don't know why i woke up this morning with this question on my mind.
why would god make the angels first, which are superior to humans, then go and make something inferior, like humans second.
i would figure that the angels would be like 1.0 then the humans would be revision 2.0 or something like that.

Maybe the inspired writers of the bible changed the names of the actual reality to give God the credit.

just got off the phone with my sister.............she started talking about an ex-elder in her congregation and his "apostate" attitude, so i asked her what she considered "apostacy".
she says that's when you openly talk against the troof........i said "the bible says it's when someone denies jesus as having come in the flesh.".
anyway, we started talking about the pedophile problem within the organization and the people who have been disfellowshipped for speaking out about it.
There has to be more to it than that.
My mom and dad knew what was going on as I kept them updated on what was happening. My dad was appalled at the way the elders handled my situation with my sons molestation. How they were going to take action against me for opening the door to the backroom. My parents knew it was all true.
They still stayed in. Wait on Jehovah he will take care of it all...What a bunch of bulls---. My god my life has been waiting and waiting for others to do something, make a decision. Someone had to take control and I did it in spite of the crap I took for it. I lost everything in my life that I had ever known. My friends, my religion, my marriage. I chose to stick up for my son. So for all you JWs on the site lurking who don't believe the dateline show think again. It happens and it keeps happening. If it wasn't happening then there wouldn't be a need to fight back. People don't give up their lives as they knew, to fight for something they don't believe in or have first hand knowledge of.
As far as your Mom goes, let her wait on Jehovah, it is their only hope at this point. Same as my mom. My mom had first hand knowledge and she still chooses to stay there. Abuse doesn't just hurt the victim, it has a snowball effect in the lives of those around. I spent years picking up the pieces.

If you have a problem you have to take it up with Satan because you see I only want to play God says.
Satan is the accuser, the one that does all the work in my book. Good, bad indifferent.
So God creates. I have created four times. I have four children to show for it. I consider that playing.
Then the work begins and Satan takes over with free will and all.

I was not allowed in the backroom. They wanted to take away his security blanket, Me.
It has now been 17yrs and we are doing good.
Although dealing with the gay issue was painful as the only thought I had when he told me was "You are never going to give me grandchildren". How sad am I?

i figured i'd share this story with you people, and it's ongoing.
when i was 19 years old, i had a girlfriend.
she was extremely helpful, encouraging me to stand up to the elders who were coming to talk to me about my meeting attendance, and my lack of field service reports.

Just read through your posts and others here. It seems you have some guilt feelings about it all.
Don't feel guilty about anything. My dad died Nov 5,1998 and for along time I felt because I had done some bad things that I did this to my dad. I have since worked through the guilt and am recovering. My dad was not manipulative, mom was and would blame me for everything.
Remember these are your dad's choices and his life and experiences. He chooses to be like this. You can wear the guilt or leave it where it belongs, in his heart.
You have a wonderful new life coming up. You have the choice to start fresh and leave it all behind.
Don't worry about him. Just love him in spite of what he is doing to himself.
Your mom is a jewel. Many blessings to you on your wedding day!

I think of this also.
Sometimes I think that maybe he wanted to experience more than the angels could give him. Maybe he needed a playground to experience things.
Maybe being the God of all he was a little bored.
Maybe he needed a sandbox and some toys but was neglected in childhood.
Maybe he just wanted to play!
If we were made in God's imagine, why was it wrong for the Angels to sleep with women? After all in the begining we were created perfect.
Why can't we all just play together and have fun?
Why do we always have to be thinking of dieing?
He has changed his plans a couple times.
Why can't the angels come down here and bring us up to heaven to meet God?
Why is he so closed off to mankind who he made in his imagine?
Yep we can pray and we are told he hears us. Has anyone ever gotten a note from God?

Leaving because my son was molested. I had never questioned anything up to that point. After my son was molested the judicial committe ensued and they refused to allow me in the backroom with my then four year old son. When I told them that only on the basis that my son was not sitting next to the person who did this, they could proceed.
My ex came out after walking my son to the backroom and told me they sat him right next to her. I ran back there opened that door and pulled him out, to be told that I had no faith and they were going to have to take action against me. She was prosecuted in court and recieved two years counseling and probation and continued in the organization.
I had never questioned the blood, false prophecy, sex. I always waited on Jehovah as that was what I was taught. When I had asked questions that could not be answered by elders I was told to have faith and wait on Jehovah.

i have been posting here for a whole year .
i have learnt so much from this forum and thank you all for the great posts, a very great thank you to simon for all the hard work and time spent helping us all.
