It's fairly straight forward. When did the tensions start?
Obama's Beer Summit
LOL
Yes, the world was in full, complete, and total racial peace and harmony, then the 180 degree change occurred instantly at precisely 12:01 PM on January 20, 2009.
yes, there has been crime as long as we can remember.
under 8 years of obama, there was crime.
under 8 years of bush the younger, there was crime.

as time goes on, i keep rethinking this whole thing about states' rights here in the us.
the more i think about it, i think less states' power may be a way to reduce some of the craziness going on.. as mentioned on another thread, you can't even drive now into some states without them checking your license tag where you are from so you have have to be quarantined.
states such as georgia are pretty much wide open.
@sir- correct.
Well, I gotta say, at least the honesty is refreshing.
Most of the right wingers on this board make a pretense of giving a $#!+ about someone other than themselves, but here he we have a guy who says the quiet part out loud.
I can deal better with horrifying, selfish, cruel honesty rather than dealing with a layer of smarmy hypocrisy lying over that same horrifyingly selfish & cruel attitude.

It remains not my job to make you feel better. Stay at home if your afraid.
Aha.
"If I kill your gramma because I prefer not to wear a mask, tough $#!+ for you. My personal liberty is far more important than the lives of old people."
Glad we got that cleared up.

Wear your mask and gloves and my lack of a mask wont effect you.
Incorrect.
Masks do not protect the wearer nearly as much as they work to protect those who are carriers from infecting others.

I.e., if you refuse to wear a mask, and are near me, I am in far more danger of infection even if I have a mask.
the july 2020 announcements mentions that baptism can be held in an “inflatable pool” as long as it touches the ground.
the pool must not be “on a terrace, flat roof, balcony, etc.”.
has anyone ever noticed that as a requirement?.
Hard to say for sure, but it seems most likely to be some sort of safety consideration.
i know i shouldn't--i tell myself this over and over--but i can't help peeking at these silly articles.
and then i see this and my head really starts hurting: so the gannet, if you don't know (and why would you?
) is a seabird that feeds on fish.
Here is the quote I alluded to earlier:
"Another thing, is one justified in concluding that the way an animal uses its body today is the only possible way? As an example, a tiger uses its fangs and claws to catch, kill and tear apart other animals. Yet, could not these same fangs and claws be used in tearing apart heavy vegetation and ripping off husks and shells?" Watchtower 1969 Sep 1 p.543

There was a laughable "Questions From Readers" article from sometime in the 60s that speculated that lions, tigers, etc. had razor sharp claws & teeth so that they could "shred tough vegetation" in the garden of Eden.
I guess coconuts? I dunno.
The QFR never addressed why cheetahs were "designed" to run for bursts of up to 60 mph. All the coconut trees I've ever seen move considerably slower than that.
searching instances of the word “simplify” in watchtower literature, i stumbled across this.. the asiatic mind finds it difficult to accept new ways, to simplify and to make advantageous changes.
they fear conversion and dislike others’ offering them help.
many continually live in a realm of unreality and refuse to face modern facts of life.
Holy crap! Are you sure that isn't from 1856?
Well, at least they didn't see anything about brain size or the shape of the skull....
it seems like the only possibilities are women of color.
no whites need apply.. maybe he will change his mind and ask hillary clinton?
?.
Trump is having a hard time with Biden's pick.
She is:
-- A Democrat
-- A woman
-- From California
-- Asian-American
-- A woman of color
-- Mother was from India
-- Father was from Jamaica
His brain is frozen - there's too much to process, he can't decide which characteristic / ethnicity to insult first.
so watching the cults assembly video i am a bit confused about the whole girl asking about marijuana.
non medical use what exactly is that.
what do they mean "medical?
JWs are allowed to take drugs (even things like opiods & marijuana) if they are prescribed by a doctor. This would be "medical" use of drugs.
If they don't have a doctor's prescription but use these drugs anyway, that is "non-medical" or "recreational" use and that will get you DF'ed. Or, as in the case of the convention video, it will prevent you from "qualifying" to be an unbaptized publisher.
