Had an elder try to "counsel" (read insult) me in front of my then wife and in my home. I told him to watch his mouth and yes he knew I was about to punch him right where the insult came from. We had a mutual, long standing dislike for one another.

It blanketed all in its path. The goverment has lifted water restrictions, so all can be cleaned. Windscreens seem OK but yep, it got into my late model car, despite being completely closed up. You can imagine how people's sinuses are reacting!

Anyone interested in the dust storm? It hit here yesterday and lights went blue I would imagine from the dust filtering the sun light. Visibility a couple of hundred metres and it got everywhere. All gone now, just like doomsayers...
for those who have had years of panic induced by wt teachings and scare stories, how have you resolved having those feelings of impending doom?.

For me, I just sit in the fear. Call it meditation if you like. Go through the worst scenarios one by one.
Slowly the layers peel back and I come to a space of it's OK. Actually it's just perfect.
And yes, life threatening stuff (etc) takes a few sittings! LOL

the other day some friends and i were talking about shows we liked when we were kids.
one show i absolutely loved when i was a kid, but cannot remember the name, was about some kids who would fly around in a tall wooden rocket ship.
the characters were all marionettes on strings and the ship looked like it was cobbled together will bits and pieces of scrap wood with a cone on the top.. i think it aired in the 1970's or 1980's.
