  Does the WTBTS still control your life?

  do you follow the arrangement dictated by the governing body of jw's regarding df'd and da'd individuals?

  do you shun the jw's like you are expected to by wt leaders or do you speak to jw's and greet them with a smile even if they shun you when you do so?

  in complying with wtbts rules of acceptable behavior for da'd or df'd persons do you think that you are showing unconditional love to your neighbor?

  Honesty, the disfellowshipping is a death blow for any servant of Jehovah. To be cut off from Family, friends and all the loved ones from the congregation is the most hurtfull and terrible thing to endure. That's why it's a punishment, however a truly disffellowshipped one (one who is truly unrepentant would be the one who has judged themself and they would simply drift away etc)

  The elders today are excersizing this judgement with no regard of love or fellow feeling, please check again my own story here, after I was disffellowshipped for following Jesus principles, which incidently didnt fit the WatchTower Bible and Tract Societies view, but somehow fitted Jehovah and Jesus's view of love and the arrangement.   i recently gave a public talk, and i really felt bad about it.. it was the public talk about the great flood of noahs days.

  the is so much evidence that this great deluge never happened, but that is something you can't tell the audience from the stage.

  (i will tell about that evidence if people are interested, but it is a bit off-topic now).

  DannyBloem, interesting article, I also encountered many new feelings regarding the flood, I mean we know it was worldwide, and it did kill off all the bad ones and the faithful Noah and family did survive, buttttt, why are there soooo many tribes that almost seem to have survived this massive event throughout the earth, buttttt have tales of the flood in their folk lore.   A controlled zombie for 32 years

  thats right a controlled zombie-how could i have so stupid?

  how could i give up my father & mother-how could i give up all my friends?when i look in the mirror i see an old man that is no longer young--and they still are not out of my life--they still come by and leave magazines---i dont want to be mean--but they just dont get it--after reading about the 2 books by ray franz and reading diane wilson:s book---there probably is a few more bomb shell books that will come out--maybe we havent heard anything yet--who knows whats around the corner lol..you might be in for a shock-i heard that in the hall i used to go to no longer announces the attendance--could it be a trend that will go throughout the world?

  i have even heard of kingdom halls beeing sold-also in their new book- they wont be having all these investigations of the flock--they will just announce from the plat form that john doe is no longer a jehovah witness---that is better--it saves a lot of stress and nonsense--maybe the jerks are doing something that makes sense for a change--that will break my heart to say i am no longer a jehovah witness----thanks hag

  JohnHag, tek heart, I was a witness for 32 years too (born into the religion) recently got disfellowshipped and asked to also be withdrawn as a member because of the *proven* association the WatchTower Bible and Tract society had with the UN. This document on the UN webpage proves it:

  Yep, there is no neutrality from the world, if there is *no* apology on the part of the WatchTower Bible and Tract Society.

  All that would be required for any decent member of the religion to rejoin is an *apology* nothing else, I went to the elders and before a judicial confessed everything I've been through and I've said sorry, why cant the WTBS print an apology in a magazine for this: http://www.un.org/dpi/ngosection/watchtower.pdf

  What get's me, is that it's repeating the wrong and more wrongs over and over again. If the WTBS can stand up and claim that other organisations blah blah blah... why cant they print a simple 1 inch by 1 inch apology in a KM or a WT or Awake, saying sorry for the affilliation with the UN http://www.un.org/dpi/ngosection/watchtower.pdf

  Hypocrasy, we havent even scratched the surface yet... Can anyone see now, why the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society is so reprehensible before Jehovah?

  hey everyone, i'm living in st kitt's and recently got disfellowshipped and also asked to be withdrawn as a member of the watchtower bible and tract society.

  as all witnesses know, this is a serious and often challenging thing to do, to stand up for your faith and belief that jehovahs people and organisation need to be clean.. i've made that stand, i've made it clear to the missionary elder here; "my concience will not allow me to associate with an organisation that was affiliated with a political organisation, or one that promotes govermental propoganda above jehovahs own word and message.

  Could print out 100 copies and leave them in a foyer etc :))

  It was all that was needed to wake me up, well that and a lot of research :-D

  it is quite interesting to note, that even the criteria for getting a ground pass at the united nations might be easier said than done!

  when i read barbara andersons description of the ground pass that had been issued to watchtower representative ciro aulicino, i decided to check and see if i could find the criteria for receiving such a special pass.
