  Bonsai Kittens ... have you heard about this?

  has anyone ever heard of the practice of bonsai kittens.

  it is where you put a kitten in a bottle, and put a tub inside it to discard waste and another in it's mouth to feed it.

  you then display it, kind of like a decoration.

  Well, I, for one, fell for it because...like I said, some people are THAT sick. The website in question described how they did it, with pictures. Details about how they glued up their behinds and tubed them to feed and evacuate. I know some peope don't care at all about how animals feel, and would do just that if it were possible. I guess I'm just so sensitive when it comes to cats, that I can't think clearly.

  And even now, I'm scared that some messed up kid will see the site and try to do that with a kitten. I wouldn't be surpised if it had already happened.

  Whacky Witness Weirdness

  ok, i'm sure all of us have met some incredibly bizarre jws over the years --- i have met some that could have been characters in a movie...just unbelievably weird.

  i've shared some of my stories with a good friend (non jw) and she swears i'm making this stuff up.

  how in the heck could i make these people up??

  Serendipity:

  I knew a sister who would intentionally wear unmatched earrings. Very amusing!

  Ah! Do I know you!!??lol

  Valkyrie has it right though...it's self-expression, the way we can! Actually, people might have found me a bit weird. I liked to wear unmatched earrings. And sometimes a normal pair, but I added one more on my right ear. One very conservative sister came to me once, all concerned that I had lost my other earring.hihi

  I guess I was also known as the tacky one. When I think back, I used to wear things that were closer to costumes at the hall. I usually was inspired by movies...So I admit it, I wore my share of Titanic necklaces (full size), hobbit-like dresses and Moulin Rouge corsets!! (How I got away with that one is beyongd me.) And let's not forget the makeup! The strange thing is, I was and am a very shy girl, so maybe that's why I never got counceled....people must have wondered what was wrong with me.

  Well I fell for it a few months ago! I was outraged and mad and I used LOTS OF CAPS!!!lol People are sick enough to do something like that...but I'm just releived it isn't a real site.

  one year ago, i attended the memorial, and that led to a bible study which i really didn't want to have, but felt kind of pressured since the elders were here and insisted was for my own good.. so, when they invite you to the memorial, it's not really for jesus, but to get you to go to more meetings.. the perfect trap, once a year...... .

  they won't get me this year..............

  i disassociated myself last year, because i refused to attend a jc!

  i preferred to jump ship rather than be pushed!.

  this year my parents have invited me to the memorial?

  Hmmm...imagining what it would be like if I just strolled in on memorial night...

  I DA'd, but everyone there know that I am really a sweet person. Wonder what they'd do if I just went and sit in the first row, and just said hello to everyone as if nothing was wrong.lol

  My rotten JW weekend

  ugh... yesterday (saturday) we did spring cleaning, in the rain!!!

  we were outside for about 3 hours in the freezing rain, raking leaves and spreading mulch.

  just so we could look good for the memorial... we weren't even allowed to go inside to warm up because the had already cleaned everything and we were soaked.

  Oh ! Horrid flashbacks of sunny Saturday afternoons sacrificed to Hall-cleaning. I was always assigned to wash the hundreds of metal bars on the chairs. You wouldn't beleive the stuff you can find there!

  What's even stranger is that some parents would take weird Bible names to name their child.

  I knew a JW boy my age who was called Dorcas. (Now I like the name because he was so nice and I had kind of a crush on him), but it is strange. His brother's name was Baltazar.hihi

  Then there's Gwyneth Paltrow who named her son Moses. Sheesh

  The Passion of the Christ Movie

  i am watching this movie for the first time and it has subtitles and is in another language.

  i am wondering if this is the way it is or if i have rented the wrong version.

  i can hardly watch it as it is very disturbing and i feel so bad for jesus.

  The Last Temptation of Christ though! I loved this movie. The Jesus portrayed in it is much more realistic/human.

  someone here has posted a verse no too long ago, but i can't find it....i think it was from john...and it clearly said that everyone who wants to be saved needs to partake.

  (or something similar).

  i think it would be one verse we all should know in case we meet a jw around memorial time.
