It’s interesting that a lot Murdoch news is also generally paywalled but this trivial divisive nonsense is openly available.

The original op-ed piece is behind a paywall and not worth my time or money. Though it seems this thread is based on responses in the Murdoch press rather than the original source. Both sides of the ‘debate’ are trivial divisive nonsense.

Minimus:
Maybe Jeffro works for Coca Cola?? Or has a lot of stock in it. He can be shown all types of sources and he still says the same thing. So be it. So if he has a stake in Coke it all makes sense. Or if he loves the taste of Coke he doesn’t want the whiteness thing to affect his enjoyment of the product.
I suppose in your mind your own nutty speculation about me counts as ‘evidence’ 🤣 The only thing I have ‘stock’ in in relation to this trivial matter is a rational approach to assessing claims. This matter in itself is unimportant, but the propensity for people to not only just accept a story, but to belittle anyone who disagrees with unsubstantiated claims is a much more significant problem. It is not surprising that some people who once accepted JW claims are still falling victim to the same kind of faulty thinking.
The only position I have taken in this fiasco is that no evidence has been provided that a specific LinkedIn Learning training course was mandatory. I haven’t said it definitely didn’t happen. I haven’t endorsed the training course in question, or ‘diversity’ training generally. I’ve been told that there’s pictures and screenshots proving it was mandatory but on requesting that evidence, it is not provided. The only sources are resyndicated versions of the same story, repeating the same original claims. And yet I’m the one who is attacked because I don’t just ‘listen and believe’. All hail the Murdoch press! 🤣

Yep, downvote the presentation of evidence including links and screenshots if it doesn’t fit the narrative. 😂
Sums up these guys’ level of respect for facts pretty well.

Orwell’s books are also still on the Kindle store.
What was previously removed were copies of the books provided by an unlicensed publisher.

Another screed of text without the claimed evidentiary screenshots. Instead you fall back to ‘well some employees said so’. Because disgruntled employees never make things up or exaggerate. 😂 (Also, eyewitness testimony is one of the weakest forms of evidence.) So... no actual evidence then. But you said there were pictures and screenshots proving it. Was that a lie?
Oh no, they won’t ‘mention dr Seuss’ at a specific event. How dare they (though that decision actually predates Biden’s presidency). Totally sounds like the same thing as a ban. 🤦♂️ Read Across America indicated in 2017 that it planned to phase out mentioning Dr Seuss. https://www.slj.com/?detailStory=cat-hat-racist-read-across-america-shifts-away-dr-seuss-toward-diverse-books

Only screenshot I’ve seen is one showing that the course was available to Coca-Cola staff from the company’s LinkedIn Learning subscription. But by all means, provide screenshots showing that the course was mandatory. I’ve explicitly asked several times on this thread for evidence of something like an email listing the training as mandatory, but you just keep saying, “oh there’s evidence” without providing any.
Your threshold for what constitutes ‘evidence’ is a bit thin though. On another thread you claim that not mentioning an author constitutes a ‘’statute’ to ban their books. You also claimed Amazon deleted specific books from Kindle devices though I provided a screenshot showing they are still available on the Kindle store (at least to Australian customers).

More nonsense. Still no evidence. Just more speculation. The only picture that has been provided shows that the course existed at the time within the LinkedIn Learning subscription (but since removed by the third-party provider). I probably won’t respond further on this thread if you just keep repeating the same false claims and personal attacks.
