They are celebrated by means of reputation
No. Most people have never heard of them. What most people do know about them is negative. Scholars are annoyed with how the WTS misrepresents them. If the WTS wasn't such a minor insignificant religion, there would probably be more complaints about them.

And... No. They have a dreadful track record of inaccuracy, backpedalling, flip-flopping, and bizarre eisegesis.

Your attitude to the Bible and Jesus Christ is deplorable and undermines anything you say. Your credibility is torn to shreds. I want nothing more to do with you.
Oh no. You can't imagine how upset I am. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you I thought baby Jesus will save the unicorns.

I'm not completely convinced the pages are official.
If they aren't official, the content will probably be taken down by DMCA notices.
If they are official, they'll probably realise at some point that the 'suggested' videos at the end are probably not stuff the WTS wants people to see.
In either case, I don't think these channels will be around for long.

Maybe. But you'd have to sign in, and have your actual name on your account, and comment on their videos, and you'd probably also need a picture (because names are rarely unique worldwide), for them to know who you are. And even then, it's quite unlikely that anyone at headquarters would be checking the identifies of commenters, (though some 'zealous' 'publisher' in a local congregation might be willing to 'dob people in'). If in doubt, just set up a separate YouTube (= Google) account.

Jeffro: What's with the deleted videos?
No idea... I'm guessing they're still working on setting up the German channel. Maybe they had some videos up as a test. Or maybe it was owned by someone else and Watchtower took it over as a trademark dispute and deleted the old content.
I also have no way of knowing whether it (or any of them) is really official.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2365992/gordon-leighton-child-abuse-trial-orders-jehovahs-witness-leaders-evidence.html.
church elders refused to comment on a child abuse scandal because they had a 'duty to god' to keep the sex attacker's confession a secret, a court heard.. jehovah witness ministerial servant gordon leighton admitted sexually abusing a child when he was confronted with allegations before elders at his church, newcastle crown court heard.. but during the official police investigation the 53-year-old, who hit the headlines in the 1990s when his wife yvonne, 28, died after refusing a blood transfusion after childbirth on religious grounds, denied any illegal wrongdoing.. when detectives asked elders simon preyser, harry logan and david scott to make statements about the confession, all three refused and said what they had heard was confidential.. the elders knew about the admissions for three years, but refused to cooperate with the criminal investigation, the court heard.. .
the trio kept that stance when the case was brought before newcastle crown court.
all three refused and said what they had heard was confidential
You can bet that the confession was not treated as confidential when it came to the elders reporting the confession to the branch office. Clergy-penitent privilege therefore should not apply, because the 'confession' was not actually confidential.
so im sittin here lookin through these issues of watch/awake that a jaydub left me, and i just realized, she gave me old mags!!!!!
these are like 2 years old!
she used me as a dumping ground for her old trash, and then counted it on her timecard as placements i just know it.. i remember leaving stacks (30-40) mags at a time on laundry mat tables, and leaving 5 or 6 in a door was not a problem.

It doesn't matter how old the magazines are, the information contained in them never goes out of date.
Do they have that in print anywhere?
Yes. Well... almost.

Do you dig out older publications to expand and deepen your knowledge on subjects about which questions arise?
United in Worship (1983), page 145:
If you do not have older publications to which an index refers, check the library at the Kingdom Hall.
1971 Yearbook, page 247:
Even older publications can bring spiritual food to meek ones.
Our Kingdom Ministry, January 1999, page 8 (Make Good Use of Older Books):
While some of us may feel that these books are out-of-date in comparison with our newer publications, we must remember that they contain Scriptural truth.
Our Kingdom Ministry, April 2011, page 3:
Many congregations have accumulated a supply of older publications. Why not obtain copies for your personal theocratic library? Of course, likely you already have access to the contents of some of these older publications in Watchtower Library. However, there are benefits to having a hard copy too. Are you studying with a progressive Bible student? Then encourage him to obtain these older publications and begin building his personal library. The Theocratic Ministry School overseer should make sure that the Kingdom Hall library contains any older publications that the congregation has in stock. These publications still have value. It is better for us to make use of them than to leave them at the congregation’s literature counter!
Benefit From Theocratic Ministry School Education (2002), page 38:
Realize, too, that some points in older publications of ours may have been updated, so consider what has most recently been published on the topic.

That may involve considerable reformatting. I might produce a PDF version of the articles if asked by appreciative readers. At this point, it's not worth the effort.

Unfortunately I cannot print out the contents of your blog for critical examination
Idiot.
but it seems that there is nothing new or original.
I've examined the available source material. It would be unsurprising that I've reached the same conclusions as other sane people.
The date is provable certainly enough for any reasonable person
So now it's "provable ... enough"? This is called shifting the goal posts, and also represents a meaningless distinction. Any reasonable person would note that there is in fact no certainty for 537. Comparison of Ezra and Josephus only allows for the return in 538.
but if you require more proof then you should worry about your date 538BCE. Some sources give 538 BCE but I bet such sources do not give a full explanation but simply pluck a figure out of the air .
Ah yes, well, who needs to examine sources when they can just bet on them? I suppose, that's how you approach JW dogma anyway.
What probably happens is that the Return of Exiles begins in 538 but ends in 537 so your authorities simply focus on the start of the Return as 538 and leave it at that and that is fine with me.
Ah, another probably. But there you're postulating that they would then have travelled through the cold rainy winter (strawman). And we know they arrived in the 7th month. Idiot.
No I think it is you that cannot come to grips with 'methodology' for possible the word is too big for you.

To which chart are you referring?
I do not know why I cannot print off the screen as I am able to do with most pages. Have you enabled a lock on ypour blog.
No, it's a standard Wordpress blog.
I notice in the pages that you have a problem with Jesus as a real historical person so what is your position.
There is no contemporary evidence that Jesus existed, only tenuous evidence that Jesus existed at all, no evidence that there was anything 'supernatural' about him, no evidence that the accounts about him in the Bible are accurate, and considerable evidence that stories about Jesus in the Bible are adapted from myths of earlier 'god-men'.
This has no relevance at all to Babylon's 70 years.
Further what is your position on the Bible anyway?
The Bible contains a variety of myths, legends, historical accounts (with political and theological spin), poetry and other material written from a Jewish (and later, Christian) perspective, from various writings over a long period of time that were later collated by Christians in the fourth century (who you consider to be 'evil apostate Christendom') at which time they excluded various other writings which they didn't deem to be 'inspired' (an ambiguous ill-defined term, and an essentially meaningless distinction).
This also has no bearing on the consideration of the material in question, as the records from the period align with other historical records.
