  ahhh, YES --- the trinity discussion still going. WHAT A GREAT THREAD! hope this continues and i finally GET IT! for the life of me i can't comprehend trinity and have a relative (thru marriage and she's a nutbag) at xmas time who plays the abusive trinity scholar so have decided to only go around her once every other yr., if that. she is right about the watchtower being a dangerous cult but since i'm not big on trinity --- she accuses me of not believing the bible - DUH!

  i'm going to copy these posts as my homework to start preparing.

  thanks for replies. i see why people give up on religion - Wontleave are you still searching for one and, if you don't mind, please post any future discoveries. my friend has attended so many different churches and said there's some really wierd stuff out there (not encouraging) and is back at public talk but she has too many issues (like all of us) with watchtower. sure she will never again be a party liner and contributor to their bank account.

  there are a few religions who are anti-trinity -- other than JW's, adventists, bible students in some areas, what are they? are there any that aren't as authoritarian as watchtower?

  godrulz -- question: so the mistranslation of God's name is the main reason it shouldn't be used (as JW's do) and the fact they're in error w/name being replaced in their new testament, right? maybe this is why it's so difficult for ex-JW's to get the meaning of Jesus = God. it's very hard to grasp Jesus is God and about the time i start to comprehend it gets confusing --- appreciate your effort explaining.

  THE BROOKLYN LOSERS must be so proud of the rules of christianity they've legislated on their followers. I HAVE TO SAY, i've never in my life been around a bigger class of social misfits as JWs --- as a group and the way they treat humanity as a whole. no wonder they need their own bible/literature --- decent humans don't learn this way.

  The meetings used to make me physically sick.

  it's 9:10 sunday morning.

  i'm dressed already, and just finished rushing through my watchtower a few seconds ago.

  now i need to wait for my ride to pick me up (i couldn't drive yet).

  YES --- ME, TOO! seriously --- it made me physically sick. IF THEY BOTHER ME I WILL GO AFTER THEM. i'm not putting up with their craziness, and i think more people should go after them. after all this country is about religious freedom and they have no right to hurt/torment people. the laws better protect people FROM as well as FOR these stupid cults.

  Spent last few days in Hospital with our 23 yr old son

  severe abdominal pain turned out to be pancreatitis !

  very scary .... his levels of enzymes should have been 180 ,but were 4,500 .

  all the tests xrays , ulta sound and mri showed no gallstones or blockages just one mother of an inflamned pancreas .

  cult people are so crazy but good to hear he's on the mend. it's hard to imagine how the JW religion creates such EVIL MONSTERS. how they profess to be christians following the Christ is a joke. we have to really be empathetic (so difficult to do) since they're brainwashed.

  the good news --- more of SOCIETY KNOWS ABOUT THEIR EVIL and because of ex-witnesses will continue to LEARN ABOUT THEM.

  you LOOK LIKE AN ARTIST FOR SURE!! LOVE IT!

  i remember my professors telling us (decades ago) IT'S EZ to look like an artist but hard to be one (yeah, maybe for them)! i was always being told to learn the rules before i break them --- NOT! i've so appreciated the admonition to learn rules before breaking them because i didn't believe them and thought all i learned was building frames and stretching canvasses which i hated.

  WOW! love it. i, too, am an artist (when i can grab time) and love skull art because of life drawing/painting (not satanism, or anything wierd). tell her if she's an art major to check into one of the great art schools -- ahh, just read up above she wants to work toward her masters --- that's great. a lot of work but worth it and wish i had a masters. she must go to florence and if you love art you can't make enough trips to italy --- the place owns me but she's young and many art/architectural majors study in rome, florence, elsewhere in europe. not that it makes one an artist but education in art is certainly the start --- just my opinion.
