  Unique JW Phrases 101

  what unique to jws phrases do you remember?

  something fun for those of us taught to speak an entirely unique and pure language.

  there have been posts in the past in this forum but perhaps some have new ones after having kept up with jehovah's chariot as the light gets brighter.

  Michael Jackson (or his agents/collectors) used his "unrighteous riches" to get preferential treatment w/exquisite shops containing world artifacts, art objects, etc., on the LV strip to the extent security was involved and could not allow any pieces/items taken for approval -- per negative experience/history.

  The 'entitled' have no conscience in family, business, etc. He resided in my community before his last residence in area and not sure of his privileges other than appearing ghost/masked when out walking. Haven't heard much about Prince other than when shopping (arrangements and rules set out) no one was allowed to 'look' at him or get close -- which is understandable.

  I'm sure the good ole boys' Crooklyn club schmoozed the entertainers - deep pockets.

  Iriddle80 - I linked into Michael Heiser's youtube but fell asleep. What little I gathered he's coloring outside the lines re/mainstream dogma and the overall subject how the Bible was written for a different world/people thus we can't understand much. I wish some of the scriptural intellects onboard here would take a peek (theists and atheists) for their opinion or a new topic. I only watched some of the first youtube - he seems to have a following and is quite educated in theology, Hebrew, Greek - the Bible in general and stepped outside his comfort zone.

  At least ole St. Nick (I loved him so) made you happy for one day out of the year and he always had a substitute filling in e/xmas. Peter Rabbit was always generous w/chocolate/candy and beautiful baskets stuffed with goodies. The Baptist Church had fun Easter egg hunts and party for the children. Those were happy memories unlike attending the morbid bunkers (halls) with all the evil taking place - no good memories there.

  Sorry - I keep forgetting that god always has the GB clowns and Pope, etc., filling in on their behalf.

  Iriddle - appreciate your comment. Did you ever give up your faith? Honestly, faith and hope re/God was the only thing that allowed my suffering attendance re/Watchtower but for very short time in reality altho I'd read the magazines for awhile -- addictive.

  Also meant to add why is it easier for some to walk away from the hope/fantasy of religion/faith/gods and cope than others? I think men are stronger and better at this than females? Others believe in a higher power of their making or something they can attach their brains to -- very difficult in my opinion.

  irriddle80 and other JWs/Christians: How does one reconcile the historical evidence in this day and age of El, Baal, Yahweh, Asherah, etc., and still maintain a positive perception, faith, as a Christian or follower of God, Jesus?

  Cite one scripture in the N.T. that chargers Christians to be witnesses of / for Jehovah.....Not one.using K.I ./ WTB&TS

  i think the wtb&ts publication titled "the kingdom interlinear of the christian greek scriptures" speaks for itself.. the word for word translation of the greek into english.. that publication does not even contain the name or word jehovah either in hebrew letters or greek letters anywhere in the word for word texts.. their is not one scripture in the n.t.

  where christians ,followers of jesus christ are instructed to be witnesses of jehovah ,however there are something like twenty scriptures that explicitly state followers of jesus christ are to be witnesses of, for, and about jesus...

  SBF/Vander - is this where/why 'Trinity' comes into play? Wonderment mentioned previously and I never understood but not in the mainstream arena since teen. Don't want to derail the topic - so interesting and I've learned so much albeit slowly. Even missed couple pages but again thanks to Earnest for patience.

  Earnest - thank you for taking the time to 'splain and type out scriptures. Obviously, one can't be a 'quick' study on this and, yes, confusion. I recall (elementary school age) from the Baptist Church "LORD" was referring to GOD and "Lord," was Jesus (I think in the NT) and when it's "Lord" here you're referring to YHWH but I get it.

  Vander -- first century Christians didn't call on "Lord," YHWH, Jehovah, in Jesus name -- just strictly addressed Jesus? Thx
