WTWizard "coronavirus sharing meetings" - perfect!/hahaha. COVID boasting sessions (COBE's provided) now - oh my.

LongHairGal - lie low from the WT snakes crawling around for donors. I hope they're begging for contributors but that's their normal game unless they're drilling down for shekels. Sure is hurtful for those of us they omit contacting/lololol. I think I would tell them I won't be able to attend but more than honored/happy to mail my contribution monthly the way I do with Joel Osteen Ministries and Myers, Salvation Army and the Catholic Charities. At least someone benefits from the last 2 mentioned 'legal set up religious crazy'!

we all know that things are all going to be way different when we get through this milestone.. like hurricane katrina, people survived this but new orleans even 16 years later is way different.

our economy is like a shark that must keep moving through the water.

stop it and it will die.. the witnesses like many people in the world, have little to no savings.

LHG - I KNOW! I can't imagine this going on, however, Easter is in 2 weeks. After listening to Cuomo/NY how it would soon hit the rest of the country like NY -- I can't imagine how this will play out but 2 weeks! I can't see it happening -- it's not going to evaporate or burn out unless the meds prove to be miraculous -- let's hope.

WT can't be too worried about their adherents if they're still ordering dress codes while they sit inside their own abodes and look spiritual and dedicated. Many of the old timers I knew yrs. ago are still marching along and cult knows most are so brainwashed they'd sit in front of their zoom screens naked if so asked w/only their - (forget Bible) - credit card in hand. If only the cult would go broke but last I checked billionaires weren't too concerned on a day to day basis. Religious people love to give their last dime so they'll buy the Lord's blessings -- or in this case Jehovah's blessings/protection - etc., etc., and more importantly, to fit in. Just more crazy.

How are people going to live if they can't return to their jobs - they'll run out of money at some point and food, cars, mortgages, rent, isn't free. I'm not referring to retirees, politicians, financial moguls, etc., of the country nor do I want the COVID to spread causing more deaths. Scary to think restrictions might be lifted by Easter - couple weeks away.

There's a big, scary, chance, the many who fled NY in the past week are possibly infected with COVID 19 per the Coronavirus Task Force. With updated COVID info, the Task Force is advising them (via news media) to quarantine for 2 weeks wherever their destination is - what are the odds of that happening.

Covid-19 (Coronavirus) - Status Update Thread

this topic is to focus on status updates & advice (no opinion or politics please).. status.

latest status is that it's serious, probably isn't going to be contained and most large companies are making contingency plans, cancelling large events etc... which i don't think would happen if it was just people being alarmist.

the incubation period means it may have already spread further and infected many more people than are currently known, so expect jumps in the numbers over the coming days and weeks.. tracking.

I couldn't believe the noise and negatives about wearing masks.

Poor Italy - that is depressing. Are they making use of the drugs that have been successful - doesn't make sense since the hydroxychloraquin is cheap and has been available around the world for decades. Z Pack has been out for many yrs. now and they obviously must know about Remdiviser although it could be in short supply if it's being hoarded - hopefully that's not true. What's the problem?

Zoom Can Control My Home Camera? Maybe Some Tech Help Needed.

even though i am partially in the it area of business, i don't understand here how people are saying that someone can control a camera through zoom.

so if i am sitting with a shirt and tie, someone on the other end can can control the camera and see that i am naked from the waist down and periodically have an itch?

or quickly move to the side and have a beer?.

WOW - the Zoom stock was pretty good - I think it's still a recommended one. Maybe not as of last week.

Amazing what you've accomplished especially w/a wealthy cult and it's protective religious' rights and the laws behind them. You know how to do it, Simon and Angharad, and we're so thankful.

Trust me - next time Simon says to get some food - "tinned," (lol) etc., and good idea to keep chocolate (which I do 24/7 -- no one can have enough fresh chocolate) and the restaurants might close down, I'll be the first one stockpiling and listening w/out outside opinions. I threw the radio out the door (had just ordered it) - I appreciate optimism but not when it comes to food/supplies. You're a household name around here and it's, "Simon, says!" I always keep few extras around but not like I use to - farmers were smart (overworked and no time for family) but they knew first hand.

THANKS and hope you have good cake/chocolate (everything you love) around for celebration. If this horror ends I'm running to the Cake Boss place on strip and buying a huge chocolate cake.
