  Most Damning Publication?

  of all of the watchtower's many publications dating now to all the way back to russell, which one publication is the most damning in showing they are a complete crachpot of a religion?

  and i course, i mean which original publication before they changed a few words and reprinted!.

  personally, i think it is probably russell's the divine plan of the ages.

  For me it is the “Evolution Creation” book published by the IBSA in 1927. This book is what first opened up my eyes to the deceiving lies that the WT of today are telling us about their so called wonderful 1914 date.

  did we all notice the way in which this weeks wt study (how to maintain a positive viewpoint) was all about keeping the flock positive even if they feel they are not doing enough in 'service'?.

  the irony is that the very reason they feel stressed or worthless is because of the pressures the org puts on them to perform!!!.

  "About 1914", and only mention about Satan being cast out? And its under the page heading of Gods rule? Is this a form of future proofing this Bible version for another 20-30 years? Maybe they have already realising that the kingdom rule did not start in 1914 and this will be the next BIG change…

  i found on another thread a quote from awake 1967 aug 22,page 27-28. it's from an article where the wt proves that women should acquiesce to their husbands.

  within the article i found something that suggests more intellectual dishonesty from the wt writers.. that it is in the best interests of both.

  sexes for man to take the lead is also supported.

  CO Special Meeting with MS & Elders

  when the co visits a cognregation this semester, a special meeting with elders and mss is sceduled tuesday night, right after the normal meeting.

  does anyone know what this meeting is about?

  this special meeting is held at the beginning of the co-week, and is different from the standard meeting with personnel which is held friday evening.

  still, needing to keep up appearances, mostly for the sake of my still-in parents, i went to another nearby.

  anyhow, the weekday meeting was tuesday there.

  Jon, Does she know you are on this site? Is she on this site? I can't say anything to my wife that is remotely outside of the line of WT thinking without upsetting her. Anything negative about WT must be lies in her mind. Best for me to keep silent...

  Take a little mp3 player radio that records. I use a 2gig sony player, (plenty of space on 2gig to record a 3 day convention) tune it into the fm boardcast of the assembly. Leave it record all day in your bag. Battery lasts all day. Then at the end of the day, download the mp3 file and edit.
