I'm not in the mood for anything I've got to eat and I don't feel like going out. I was thinking about cooking a couple ribeyes on the grill, but I'm not in red meat mood...plus I ran out of steak sauce last week.
... but today i went to see deuce bigalow: european gigolo and i have to say it was the most stupid thing i have seen in a very long time.
it was so painfully bad that i actually walked out on it.
it was a never ending series of "penis" jokes and "gay" jokes and other really really stupid gags... like the girl bigalow meets in obsessive compulsive and has 130 stupid things she does.
I watched the first one while stoned and thought it was mildly humorous (I suppose that was a good indication that it actually sucked). The second time I watched it I didn't see anything funny about it.
I think I'll skip part 2.

I used to always have dreams about bringing people back to life.
I hate to keep bringing up my grandparents, but when my grandmother was in a coma from cancer I put my hands on her and said, "Live". That's what I always said in the dreams.
I didn't cure her, but she briefly opened her eyes and smiled before slipping back into the coma.
i'm interested in how many here give to the homeless, or any kind of charity, since that was not a part of the witness experience.
i have to admit that my heart is hard ...
That's just me, because I know I can give more than that.
What do you do when you're walking down the street and every homeless person asks for something?
The Inner Harbor is a popular tourist attraction in Baltimore, and there's a homeless person on every bench asking for a handout. If they're not happy with a dollar or a few quarters, well, that's all I can afford. That's one more soda that they wouldn't have had otherwise.
The change does add up. I put a few quarters in one guy's cup and saw that he had more money on him than me!

I do not insult them with spare change
I don't necessarily think it's insulting to give them some spare change. It's better than what they had before, nothing, and they can at least get a sandwich or a cup of coffee.

That doesn't mean that they care about them. It's done for monetary gain and entertainment.
That site definitely gives a bad first impression. The name and imagery 'implies' that they'd use military force to get converts, even though that's not the actual message.
I can't help but think that this was intentional.
