I agree with Old Hippie, many people in less developed countries may need to be told, but why do they distribute that same material in the US, in France, in Germany, in England ?

for god's sake, do jw's not know how to do that and do the borg think they have to tell them how to do it.
it's cracking me up just thinking about it.. to make you laugh even more, in the next issue of awake someone had written a bloody letter thanking them for the article and how it had helped them so much and had a query on whether to rinse dishes with water or not after washing.

The first big meals I had here in the USA, after having lived over 30 years in France, were to me quite astounding, to say the least...
Quite bland, and over so fast... Everything is put on the table all at once, and in less than 30 minutes,it's all finished....I was used to holiday meals that lasted for 3 or 4 hours, or more !
And who has heard of serving huge glasses of milk with a meal of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, squash, pies... etc ???
So I started to invite people and tried to serve the meal like we do in France, Apéritif... Appetizers... Main dish with different vegetables... Cheese platter... Dessert... And for God's sake : Wine and not Milk !

Open Letter to Society

you might want to consider this letter in the 'questions from readers' section of the watchtower.. my question is this: i would like to join the catholic church and at the same time keep my standing and position in the congregation!
the reason being is that i have heard that the vatican has a very good and complete library which i would like to avail myself of.
