I am always amazed when I read such speeches..."look to your creator..." Which in the mind of this fool means :"become a JW and go door-to-door to distribute the Watch Tower literature...this is the only way you can be saved when God's wrath falls upon us...""

Why the disaster will hurt the WTS in the long run

jws have been excited about events last week.

their sensibilities have been fine-tuned to expect armageddon at any moment, and last week's events seem extreme enough to lead to one thing after another.. i think these events will hurt the wts in the long run.

consider the typical long-term jw.

I was on radio today!

hi folks!

i was this weeks guest on the norwegian radio today, in the broadcast for our county.

naturally they wanted to speak to me about many things, other than the jw related stuff, since im also running a small business magazine, and besides that im in fact a private person with my own interests.

How can these JWs lie like that ? without qualms of conscience ?

the watchtower 'pounded' the catholic church in their publications for years.

an equally influential religion has been islam, and maybe even more so.

has the society written anything on them?

The JWs have been recruiting their followers mostly among Catholics and different Protestant denominations. That's why they had to put down these major religions in their literature.
They can't attack small groups, they are one, and they proclaim that they fight for religious freedom.

yesterday i was in shock.. this morning it finally sunk in.. i am so upset, my stomach hurts, i am constantly on the verge of tears, how could it happen ?.

i picture the passengers on these planes.

I picture the passengers on these planes. Probably kids among them. It must have been sheer panic.
How could 1 or 2 terrorists with (most probably) no fire arms or dangerous weapons get control of the planes ?
The title "Wag the dog".... well, I don't know why, but I was thinking that The Watch Tower is probably delighted that such catastrophe hit at this particular time... It will divert the attention from the NBC show. Who cares about what happens in a tiny sect, when such a tragedy happens on our shores.... ?
