  The Pope...

  ... well, in addition to condoms being bad, now the pope says lawyers who work on divorce cases are doing something bad.. poor old guy; he should retire, but he really believes and will likely die in harness or become so decrepit that he is no longer capable and will be replaced.. however, at least jw's don't corner the market in saying stupid things!.

  I have great respect for this Pope.
  Never heard about the condom ban or the divorce lawyer thing.
  But even if it's true, Cahtolics do not follow blindly, they do what they think is right for their own situation.
  And at least the Catholic church does a lot to help poor countries and people, they have hospitals and charities...
  I like this Pope, great man, don't insult him.

  hello bill, i have been thinking about one great method to make public awareness of child molestation and rape in the organization to explode like an 80 megaton hydrogen bomb!.

  hollywood studios have an obsession with crime movies that chronicle the lives of the abused, and those like you, bill, who make a major difference in protecting them.. there are two kinds of movie themes, the documentary and "docu-drama.

  " it's the second that is ordinarily used because it's based on real life.

  Derrick, I don't know if I like your scenario at all !
  The cases we hear about are not about molestation of kids met in the door to door work, it's about JW kids whose parents are too blind and too naive to protect their own children from abusers, or fathers who abuse their own children....
  It is a good idea however.
  More like an "Erin Brokowich" story....

  i feel evolution is still happening to man not so observable.

  while attending the district convention at the cow palace in san francisco, the jw man who had brought me into the religion, told me that ray franz had resigned from the governing body, and several were disfellowshipped from bethel in a major cleaning out of apostates.

  i was shocked, and asked why ray franz would resign.

  Paranoid about death and im only 31????

  dont get me wrong im a really happy guy and live an exciting life but since i was about 20 iv always thought about how frightening the reality of death is it really bugs me ill give you an example im really young now of course and then i might walk passed a graveyard and even look at the stones and then i think that will be me one day.

  but i cant imagine being dead i want to live forever and all i want to know is do you think the dead are conscious of nothing or is there life after death.

  iv got this idea though see what you make of it, i think that r bodys are just shells and are life is in us and when we die we go to another realm maybe heaven etc i thought of this because angels can supposedly materialize in to human form and viceversa so what do you think people is there really life after death

  Noone knows.
  Your guess is as good as any other.
  That's why religions exist, to give hope...
  It's nice to believe that there's a better life after death,
  that this short life on this earth is not all there is...

  Where is the Truth???????

  i studied with the jws for a number of years and i found that on your doorstep they were the friendliest people in the world, but the firsrt time i stepped into the kh, with the exception of a few they didn't want to know!!!!!!!!!

  i sat on a chair alone for the whole of most meetings, sometimes i even had a whole row to myself.. i then began to realise that i was only a statistic on a monthly report card.

  in other words if someone was pioneering or it was raining they only had to come and see me to make their hours up.. question the blood issue and they will walk past your house with their heads down and push your magazines through the letter box when they know you are out to avoid seeing you.. i love my family, but according to the jws my lovely husband, my children and my grandaughter who i love more than life itself have no chance in the new system.

  Welcome, Newbie !
  The truth is certainly not to be found among the JWs.
  JWs used to visit me quite often, sometimes once a week during some periods.
  I asked them in, we talked, compared texts in our Bibles....
  Until one day one of the nice ladies told me (she was getting tired of all my questions)that I won't be saved when Armageddon comes, if I don't go out and spread the good news... and my 3 or 4 year old son would very soon be destroyed by their god, if i didn't become a JW....
  That was the end of their visits, and the beginning of my research into this dangerous sect.

  i read a lot her that jw is brainwashd, and some of you make a bigg point aout of this, i dont agree, i think we can think ourselfs you put youself on high placese when you say this, i think we must acept what other peopel think and dont say they are dummis or something like that, who no the truth, perhaps you all have wrong, something to think abaout when you put out your very high complianing.. i can give you one link too see who realy is brainwashd, it is you peopel here, you as say good bless us, read and think,.

  Happy, zealous JWs usually are very young, or have just been converted to the "religion".
  Continue reading such web sites as this one, do some research into your "religion", and one day, sooner or later, you'll realize that, yes, you were "brainwashed"...

  as i said in a previous message, the president of mils, alain vivien in his new parlament report on sects, is plaining to classify jw a religion (the exact term "association confessionnel").

  if this would be left done it would be another victory for jw and other european countries might follow the example.

  somebody (malka) called this a "fake".

  there was one guy in the congregation who was (and still is) a homosexual.
