friends will use friends for their certain goals, but there are some out there who are true friends.
now this may seem "stalinish" but i'm just wondering if one of my friends is using me for their one goal.
here is my test: one day out of the blue, call them up and ask them if they want to see a movie or something that involves hanging out with me, nothing to do with hanging out with their bf/gf or other friends.
like say i want a girl at works phone number, what do i do? i could just ask her over break, but am i going with the flow? wtf does it mean?
Tsu, you havent called that girl from work yet? Why not? Put a lil excitement into your summer and ask her already! If she says no, well then, no big deal...go with the flow.

Tho' it has its purpose, I no longer see anything glamorous or exciting in it. My husband is a MEII rated pilot and I have traveled a lot with him in single engine aircrafts. Although not licensed, I can fly, take off and land a cessna 172 myself... and I was a flight attendant at one time. I realize all that can go wrong between pilot and mechanical error. And after experiencing all those practice stalls (why would someone want to stall an airplane on purpose I would demand to know!) and emergency landings in a two seater for weather conditions, or having to hold a flashlight out on the wings to make sure there was no ice accumulating while my husband looked below for an airport (or decided we'd have land in a corn field), or riding backseat with a student who has no idea what he is doing....oy vey.
I'm ok with it, but I also like the feeling of having both of my feet on the ground.

but oasis cd is deeply disappointing...(i disagreed with critics on their recent releases..thought they were good).

when i got out of the dumbs, i use to cuss non-stop i think as a pathetic tactic to make worldy people think i was a little more worldy.
i still swear from time to time, and foul language does not offend me at all, but i was talking to my sister the other day, she just turned 21, has discovered alcohol, is currently on public reproof, and i think is really close to being on her way out herself.
she cursed like a sailor the whole time i was talking to her.

I try to leave most derogatory words out of my vocab. However, if I like say, hmmm...run into a wall , or drop a glass on my foot, I prefer to scream god's name in vain in some creative way, as referenced above. That always makes me feel a little better.

Basically, they are not into promoting family tradition outside of their pseudo spiritual realm...or doing anything fun outside the org. No, I misspeak, anything fun in general. I was shocked to see the Bethelites celebrating christmas in Franz's COC. Over the years I figure they fine tuned their cultish custom of stripping away all individuality to include holidays and no matter what biblical verse they try to tie into it for members to buy it, it still makes no logical sense.

I saw this movie at the age of four while staying over at my 'spiritually weak' uncle's house. jesus in a jumpsuit if that movie was not such a tramatic experience that twenty some years later I remember it like yesterday. I still picture that girl's head spinning around 360! Maybe watching it as an adult wouldnt be so horrific, but I'm thinking I will not.

The sports I enjoy most are soccer, tennis, mt. biking, if that counts. Lately I have been roller blading.. know, I know, so 1992, but it is such a great workout for your legs and fun too. Ecxept a few weeks ago I was looking at a some flowers ors something and ran into a curb and scrapped my knees up. lol. Since, I've invested in knee pads even though they look hilarious.
The only sport I've ever really enjoyed as a spectator was following the Red Sox 'reverse their curse' in last seasons victory.

I would think that could potentially work because really, what woman would not want to turn her husband on? She may not even realize your are turned off by her. As long as you are honest and sensitive when approaching the subject. I would think she would respect and respond to that approach a lot better than being physically neglected or having subtle hints dropped all over the place. Follow it up with others' suggestions of exercising together. Go hiking or join a gym together. Maybe say something like the lack of physical activity is turning us into coach potatoes in the marriage and it is hurting our intimacy, so lets start getting sweaty together... then before you know it you will really be getting sweaty together!!!
