now out of all of them, if you could pick and mix, which ones would you like to see together forming a pop band of their day, what tracks would they be performing, what genre of music and dare i ask for some lyrics, though i'm not sure if thats a permissable question, (oops, sorry god).

ok, we do not want to lose people like farkel, alan, mind..........hmmmmmmmmmm, this fluff mind is drawing a blank on names here.

Many seem perfectly happy that the board is just as it is and don't have a problem with it, whilst others of us would like to see improvements made. Its not about creating separation, one group putting themselves above another, far from it, its about creating that space that assist the community to not defragment as much as it does, its cohesion overall that we are working towards, unifying the effectiveness of how the board presents its message. The board is many things but like any thing else, it needs room to grow and transform with the times, otherwise we may find that the present systems falls into a rut, herein lies that danger.
There really is no judging here, far from it is what I'd like to assure others who feel that we are just trying to be intellectually superiour. This is certainly not the case or how we feel about others, just an enablement of more equality for everyone.
Thats about as Fluffy as I can get, oh dear, I do hope Uncle Brucey approves. Dear ole Brucey, he's such a balmpot and maybe I owe him an apology too.

if someone doesn't believe their story then i don't believe they should cast doubt on the person or attack them as i doubt they have all the facts.. i am extremely dissappointed to think that someone could come to the forum for support and be shot down like this.

This is just looking at the site from a designers point of view, I am not critising, just offering a few solutions that you may or may not like to discuss.
In the space that we are working within, within this web based community, everything feels constricted, my suggestion is for you to allow one or two of us to assist you in redesigning maybe parts of the board from a users perspective and that by utilising such suggestions, such action may allow the board overall to operate more smoothly than at present is obviously the case.
We really appreciate what you have put together, your time and expense incurred in keeping this site up and running. Would you like help in sourcing funding towards improvement? Would you like to let me know?
I think we could all do with some room to manouevour(?) around, thats the essence of it.
Its difficult in the space confinement here to be all things to all individuals completely fairly, therefore could not the onus be upon all of us to assist in improving things to provide a better cohabitation living environment?

The Witnesses are a curious lot, but like mant people around the world there is good and bad in everyone. Its just that for some, the power over others goes to their heads a bit too much. Like any other hierachical organisation there is a split knowledge base between the people at the top (fat controllers) and the everyday levels below. The people at the top say, 'you will do as you are told, or you will 'die'', whilst the people on the everyday level ask why that must be so. The fat controllers answer by saying, 'do not question our authority, you must accept, if you continue to ask questions of us, you will die at armageddon'. Sounds far fetched right?
In essence, whilst we may not have received literal threats of being killed off if we didn't agree, we were warned that we would be 'spiritually' bumped off if we questioned too much. This is the practice of disfellowshipping or put another way, complete ostracism. Cut off entirely from fellowship with family and friends, everyone you've always known.
I'm trying to put this all simply, but probaly not doing a very good job of it, how to choose the words, come on Mark.
They put themselves and teach that their organisation is beyond the law of the land. Where any conflict arises that threatens their structure, they depend upon their own mechanisms in favour of Satan and his demons system, i.e. guys like you who in their eyes represent evil and sin. They believe they have the sole rights to truth over all other peoples belief structures. There is no middle ground.
Are they a cult at all or just disguised as one, disguised as a religion or are they a mind controlling corporation, basically a legal and publishing company, set up as a mlm hierachy, enrolling free labour members and passing themselves off as religious? If there system was anywhere else in society, for a lot of the harm they do, there activities would be banned with immediate effect.
I'm sorry to be so difficult to understand, I still can't write with clarity my entire feelings and understanding of this group of people and the negative effect they have on many individuals lives.

our congregation never once did a drama at an assembly.. my wife's congregation didn't either.. but some seemed to do them every year!.

Was thinking about the dramas the other day, and how diabolically bad they were, the acting? Streuth!! And those wide sweeping gestures with the arms flowing emphatically, ahhhh those were the days.
The congregation here got to do a few of them but never offered me a part, how unusual.
Do you remember the fake face paints to give the tanned look and the turbans made from second hand curtain material, honestly, if any of the public had seen any of the training sessions, they would have fallen about laughing at the daftness of it all. Amauratish? (oops) You never likely to see something as funny again, on telly it would be brilliant.
