  How Come the Watchtower does not admit "We Don't Know Anything About Bible Prophecy" and come clean?

  so many of us have been caught up in the negative effects this religion placed over our lives and those who we love very much.

  i am the first one to tell my kids "i don't know s&^^ about this or that subject", if the watchtower is truly our brother or spiritual mother why don't they tell us the following questions we all have asked them?.

  1. we screwed up about 1914 and "life is short, go live your life to the fullest while maintaining justice and morality, don't hurt your fellow man by making his life screwed up!.

  Ding, they could still get donations if they were honest and said "Let's all work together to seek greater understanding around us!" or is that too dangerous for a group of men who wielded semi-absolute power in the Organization and their not will to let go of the intoxication that power generates among people?

  I read posts here that blow beyond what the best Watchtower writers wrote in their magazines, perhaps that's because their either dead or stopped writing for the Watchtower?

  Field Service or the Preaching Work we who were aware of from the 20th Century is now dead! Preaching will be done over the Internet because people are too busy to stop and listen to the nutty JW standing at the corner with his Magazine Cart. Cart Witnesses is useless, if you were to add up the hours (real hours, not fake ones) they put in standing around doing nothing and applied it to helping the World in meaningful endeavors, their numbers would grow quicker!

  Hatred among Jehovah's Witnesses is at a All-Time High as each Witness weighs the opportunity cost of engaging with his fellow Witnesses and get's afraid they might be walking in to a trap. Witnesses are not helping each other like they did when we were kids, witnesses are paranoid people want money or their time from them. Pedophiles are defended, families hate each other, what's left with the Organization other than obsolescence?

  Do You Think Humanity Will Ever Be Completely Free From Religion?

  i realize that many here still have a form of spirituality or faith, and i mean no disrespect to those individuals.

  i suppose i am posting this question to those, like myself, who have come to the conclusion that religion in general is a major hindrance to the progress of our species and needs to be put aside so that we can advance to our full potential.

  so my question is, do you think this will ever actually happen, and how do you think we can get there?

  No, unless you create artificial life or learn how to deprogram that part of our dna! If we are the product of aliens from another planet does that make them God or gods like the movie where the architects were going to blot out life by using the creature from "Alien" to do that?

  What if there is a message in our DNA from the Being or Beings that oversaw the creation and development process on Earth until they might have moved on to another region or Dimension? Richard Dawkins has stated he can't say 100% "There is no God or Creators because they would imply he has "all knowledge" of everything to make that statement. All the evil and hate spreading around the World does not eliminate the need for a Creator or Creation process, as Dr. Dawkins said "we don't have absolute knowledge to totally eliminate God or gods from the human process".

  If DNA has a code or message from God, your going to have to create something new to remove that which make's us try to look beyond our own self and make sense of Eternity or crave knowledge of understanding that.

  mental and physical intimidation (bullying) while young increases the probability of mental illness as an adult.

  that's the conclusion of a recent study.. "bullying may be more scarring than child maltreatment because while society recognizes child abuse as a serious problem, and supports its victims, people just don't see bullying the same way, wolke said.

  "there're still people out there who think that bullying is a normal rite of passage you go through and toughen up, etc.," he said.but bullying leaves people with poor self-esteem and a lasting sense of distrust of other people, he told live science.

  They add firewood to doubters exit strategy and widen the door, they open up the minds and make it so appealing to leave. When one of the best people was kicked out of the Organization it made me question "why am I attending the Kingdom Halls when all I've seen is hateful conduct by those "older men" and "Men who are suppose to be fighting with us, not against us in the spirit-world war!" JWs Elders can be just as wicked as men from other churches, they have the same problems we do except they don't have mind control and "we are the truth" bullsht pouring out of their ministers mouths unless their a cult!

  To sum up your question easily, they help seeking, suffering and suffocated witnesses leave the Organization faster! Good Question!

  You think they know their dishonest or truly believe God is using them even though they've been foiled in doctrine for almost 150 years? How come my brother and sisters who are very smart can't see how dumb-downed this religion has become? The Watchtower actually provides atheists and anti-theists with fuel, not some apologetic resourceful insights or spiritual paradise. Those videos and stupid remarks made by the Governing Body regarding "Tight Pants" and "Education" and "Ex-Witnesses who are not controlled by their silly mind games" provide fuel^1000 power to anti-theists to mow over people following the Watchtower's terrible logic. They are the friends of darkness, add more clouds instead of providing light or some path we can walk during this Worlds occult times.

  I wish they would come clean for the sack of God, tell the world "Were wrong, go on and move with your life!" but their too much like Joel Olstein who got a $7 million dollar signing deal to write a book about "Materialistic Theism" or "Richer you are, the more it shows God is Blessing you!" "Your failure to become rich is because you did not your own self apotheosis(new word I discovered, it's cool learning new material) inside yourself and amplify all those prayers God answered you!

  i have very recently come out of a bout of severe depression which lasted for years.

  i have ginormous underlying issues which i hardly talk about, especially to my family.. today my sister came in, wanting to force me to do something she wanted.

  her strategy was to make me feel bad for feeling bad, just to show me that my problem (which she has no idea of but thinks she does) wasn't the biggest in the world.

  Hi Teacup, your always welcome to share your problems here and suprising the community will rally to things that trouble you. Depression sucks, nobody but you knows how dark the mind takes us through life and nobody but you knows how to respond to all things troubling you.

  People who don't outwardly admit they are depressed or maybe their not are often mentally blunt! They can't imagine the world does not revolve around them and say stupid stuff due to their uneducated brains or lack of compassion.

  My favorite line is when someone said to my friend who lost her twins in a car wreck, "I know how you feel, I lost my dog a month ago! How in the Hell did that statement make it past her brain that's suppose to filter shit you say and shit that's best left to keep to yourself! I don't know the depression you suffer, I deal with my own like so many of our friends here. The best thing you can do so often is keep yourself from giving up because there are many people who know your worth. Don't allow her senseless mouth to affect you, it's easier said that done, right? I am trying to learn to harden my heart from family that have nothing good to say because their holy JWs who have not experienced evil or Karma they sewed so plentiful in our World! I

  Please tell me why they don't tell us the truth, I know each any everyone here has suffered from this evil step mother's arrogance but why can't they stop lying?

  in watts, california it took decades for city residents to get a grocery store after the thugs burned their businesses to the ground.

  Smiddy the Bloods and Cripps (The two major Black Gangs in the United States) said they were going to send in gang members from various cities to assist the inciters of the riots to attack or even kill police officers. I hate when CNN goes in and interviews men who can't express themselves intelligently giving the people a bad name as a whole. Walking around with signs "F' the Police" CNN made sure you know what that sign said, CNN has some guy walk up and use the F-F-F-F-F_F_FF_ , how do you write what this fool said on National TV? It's a excuse for bad people to steal things that don't belong to them, bullies taking advantage of the only businesses willing to service a area most Big Businesses are afraid to move towards because they fear Mobs will pilfer them! I feel bad we are moving backwards with police and race relations, some reporters love the people going crazy!

I think it's like a fire that needs to be put out, the hatred and racism is getting worse. The police are on a roll with making bad choices, why did they need to chase that man down and how did he get killed? Killing innocent people and burning your neighborhood business and services down wont make things better, is this a sign were going backwards with Civil Rights?

  The Plain Truth had better looking magazines than our rags, it's strange they put more money in their art and quality of print than this religion that claims to spare no expense when it comes to sharing the Governing Body's Message of Hope!
