For me that would be Ninpo or colloquially known as Ninjutsu, its way more than just a sport or a physical exercise but we won't go into it right now ;) But most importantly it is also a source of great friendships and contacts from all over the world.

In terms of feeling part (as in senses) I don't think there is much difference. BUT, considering how much falsehood there is around many guys don't easily open up any more, and some have developed methods to find what really motivates somebody before letting them in with full sincerity. Mind you reading your posts in last two weeks I'm really starting to feel sorry for you, sounds like you've had a bad run with guys. Keep in mind though men are not all the same, just like not all women are the same. Some guys simply love jumping from girl to girl like winning a trophy, likewise some women just like to use a guy to the max before jumping onto another and the sad part is I guess that many of guys have come to expect that and are reacting to slightest sign of trouble. I guess, as result of it there is so much distrust on both sides that sometimes (many times) we hardly ever show our real selves openly and are groping in dark hoping somehow we'll eventually "see the light".
I don't know what you are really passionate about, but I would suggest you start meeting people with similar interests. Say if it is horses for instance you will see them at specialized events etc and you'll be able to see them in their natural state hopefully devoid of all socially imposed layers and masks. For example I've got a thing about martial arts and cars and I'm meeting a lot of people on such events. The other day I was looking at buying MZ3 roadster at local car event and casually started talking to lady who was looking for the same. Before long we were talking about all sorts of things. I'm not saying anything will necessarily develop out of that but do you see my point? Likewise, I meet a lot of people with interests in martial arts and from there you'd be surprised how much you find in common with them, and what's more, no pretense, often these are sincere people just looking for companionship with like minded people.

to add: maybe if you go to you local university, many (at least here ) have free to fublic events of all sorts from science to politics, you are sure to meet some interesting people there

my all time fav is the sopranos.. i enjoy two men and a half and law & order svu..
I always loved to watch The Secret Millionaire, a reality television show in which a millionaire goes into area where he is not known wearing shabby clothes and acting kind of weak and lost to basically see how he (or she) will be treated. It's funny how people's perception (and treatment) of you changes depending what you put on yourself. So if he finds people are genuine he usually gives them a sizable check to solve their problem or make their dreams come true. If not, oh well people just showed their true colors and missed the chance of a lifetime.
It is fun to watch but it is not just a trivial show, it is an excercise in human psychology and comes directly from old Chinese "The Art of War" phylosophy. Actually I just remembered I've already drawn a reference to the idea ages ago
Kinda like old ninja saying "act weak to encourage arrogance in people so you can see their true colors" But if they are genuine and many people are they will show it in the way they treat you. One of the best shows that came out of Britain and I don't say that lightly :D

just remembered some insane old laws that were preached from the platform when i was in:.
jazz: is a slang word for sex, therefore jazz is not for christians ( jw's).
rock and roll: ditto it describes sex therefore is bad.
I'm starting to think that witnesses are more aroused than average Jills or a Joes. Amount of time they speak about sex in various context is almost unheard of. They have it in all possible incarnations and colors, sex, fornication, adultry, sex out of wedlock, pre-marital sex....... it goes on and on. Their conscious mind registers more instances of sex references than people see on average TV, while their subconscious mind registers only this ,...sex...sex...sex...sex..sex... and their hormons respond accordingly.
