So where is the trial going to be held, in States or Russia?
Actually if in States she might even win, I guess she could sue them for copyright and trespassing too And if they make a fun of her then harassment charges could be also added.

Watchtower and UN?
by rambaldi inis this issue of the watchtower being part of the un department of public information of any significance?
at the district conventions of jehovahs witnesses there are flags of the united states and other sovereign government such as states or other countries hanging from the buildings.
the governing body and the watchtower society rent buildings which become the equivalent of kingdom halls for the weekend.

Rabaldi,
... and how about you do a bit of research on this subject before posting here ‘cause it is really tiring explaining everything from the beginning to every dub that barges here flaming with half-thought through arguments (if at all). There’s so much info available on this topic that is mind-boggling. So after going through all of that and if you then have some new point of view hidden from all of us by all means post here. But as long as your post is nothing more than mind’s jerk-off you’re just making fool out of your self. Nuff said. -

Right. OR maybe it is because of this ...
September 15th, 1951, Watchtower:
"Unlike the republic of Israel, this anointed remnant of spiritual Israel were separated from this old world and were made clean from selfish politics, greedy commerce and demonic religion, all of which make up the official elements of this world. (Isa. 52:11) Refusing to enter partnership with the abominable League of Nations or the United Nations..." -

Psychoanalyzing the Governing Body and Other High Ranking Ones from a Dista
by frankiespeakin inpsychoanalyzing the governing body and other high ranking ones from a distance.. i'm interested in some professional opinions on this, what makes these guys tick, what makes them perpetuate a fraud on the rest of jehovah's witnesses?.
i know some can be pretty dogmatic in these areas, lets not try to be, lets look at this thing from many angles.
even if your not a professional give your opinions.

Don't know enough about GB to judge. But I'd say it’s a self-delusion. I’d like to know if those 12 guys also go from house to house preaching and if they stand on corners with magazines. If they do it would tell (at least to me) that they do believe what they preach even if being questionable.
But if they don’t go …. Well there’s your answer.
Or perhaps they just go like COs to “help” others with bible studies and visits, i.e. never from house to house. Well again .... there's your answer. -

What have you gained?
by bagpuss inits two years since i last attended a meeting or thought of myself as a jw.
despite the prophesys of doom and gloom for those who leave the org i have gained lots and lost nothing.. i have much more time to spend with my husband which has led to our relationship improving fantastically.. i have a better relationship with my children who stopped going to meetings when they were teenagers.. i have become much closer to my family (i've just returned from yorkshire from my great nephews 1st birthday party.
my confidence has grown dramatically as i no longer view myself as worthless.. the guilt of not doing enough has gone.. i now have real friends.. the list goes on, but i really would like to hear what you've gained or hope to gain by leaving the borg.

First Look at Tempel's Chemicals 07.01.05
A picture of Tempel 1(left) taken by Deep Impact's medium-resolution camera is shown next to data of the comet taken by the spacecraft's infrared spectrometer. This instrument breaks apart light like a prism to reveal the "fingerprints," or signatures, of chemicals. Even though the spacecraft was over 10 days away from the comet when these data were acquired, it detected some of the molecules making up the comet's gas and dust envelope, or coma. The signatures of these molecules - including water, hydrocarbons, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide - can be seen in the graph, or spectrum.
Deep Impact's impactor spacecraft is scheduled to collide with Tempel 1 at10:52 p.m. Pacific time on July 3 (1:52 a.m. Eastern time, July 4). The mission's flyby spacecraft will use its infrared spectrometer to sample the ejected material, providing the first look at the chemical composition of a comet's nucleus.
These data were acquired from June 20 to 21, 2005. The picture of Tempel 1 was taken by the flyby spacecraft's medium-resolution instrument camera. The infrared spectrometer uses the same telescope as the high-resolution instrument camera.

And it's unpatched at the moment.
By Matthew Broersma, TechworldAn unpatched flaw in Internet Explorer may allow attackers to execute code via a malicious website. The bug affects the latest versions of Explorer patched with Service Pack 2 (SP2) as well as older editions, according to SEC Consult.
Cisco has also reported a flaw in its IOS operating system, widely used in routers and other networking hardware, that could allow attackers to bypass authentication.
The Explorer problem involves the way the javaprxy.dll COM object works with object tags, according to SEC Consult, but is part of a wider problem. "We found that at least 20 of the objects available on an average XP system either lead to an instant crash or an exception after a few reloads," the firm said in an advisory.
Crashes are one thing, but the javaprxy.dll flaw may also allow an attacker to run malicious script code, although neither Microsoft nor SEC Consult could confirm that this was more than a potential outcome. "An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could run malicious script code on the local system. This could allow an attacker to take complete control of the affected system," said Microsoft in an advisory.
A user could be affected by the bug by viewing a website containing the malicious code, Microsoft said. An attacker might lure a user to a malicious site or compromise another site and embed the malicious code there.
Microsoft chided SEC Consult for publicly discussing the vulnerability. "While this issue was first reported to Microsoft responsibly, details about the reported vulnerability have been made public. Microsoft continues to encourage responsible disclosure of vulnerabilities," the company said in its advisory. Microsoft didn't initially confirm the bug when SEC Consult reported it earlier this month, according to the security firm.
Microsoft said it may patch the bug after finishing its investigation. In the meantime, it recommended users to set Explorer's security settings to "high", via a process described in the advisory. Unfortunately, this setting means users will be prompted before the execution of every ActiveX control.
Independent security firm Secunia gave the flaw a "highly critical" rating.
Cisco IOS bug
Cisco said a vulnerability in Cisco IOS could be exploited to bypass the Remote Dial In User Service (RADIUS), which could allow an attacker to access a vulnerable network.
The bug affects particular versions of IOS, only affects those using RADIUS, and only affects those with a particular configuration setting - the fallback method must be set to "none". Cisco specifies which versions are vulnerable, and makes patches available, in an advisory on its website.
The company said workarounds are also possible to make the bug less dangerous.

Is WTBS now encouraging witnesses to go into business?
by zagor injust wondering if youve noticed the same thing.
last few assemblies ive ever visited ive noticed frequently one phrase brother so and so, an elder, etc, and also running his own business ive heard this time and time again when theyd introduce someone to preset their experience and if im not wrong even once or twice when theyve introduced a new speaker.. .
ive also heard from others who have noticed the same lately though most of them are interpreting it along the lines well, it is just a good example of how it is possible to be a self-employed witness and not be part of this corrupt business world.
