Lots of people tried to convince me in "The Secret", on surface it is tempting to go for a ride but after a while you see it's nothing more than conditioning your own subconscious that then seeks out what it wants to find, kinda like reading horoscope and seeing only bits that fit and ignoring all the rest.
Intuition is all good if based on solid logic and it can connect things conscious mind cannot, but If we look back and see that often our "burning gut feeling" led us along the path that turned out more often to be disaster than not, then something is wrong. I often see people who follow their gut until they crash as well as those who miss the chance of a lifetime because their gut was telling them something else. Mind sometimes gut feeling can save your life, last year I've had a gut feeling that something was wrong with my gut, well it turned out my gut feeling saved my ass, go figure.

Of course, you always want to know deeper answers. While I don't believe in god I believe things need to have logical explanation and there are deeper levels of truth that are yet to be discovered. At some deep level physics must be unified, compact and things must make sense. We can't have to major branches of physics being accurate in their own fields while being incomparable with each other, somewhere, something is missing. We don't know how life begin, we got good idea how it developed but where the spark began, what forces kick-started it we don't know. If we did perhaps that would answer the question if we are alone in the universe or not. History can certainly teach us a lot and there are few people more passionate about archeology than me (at least among people I know) but that doesn't mean I'm looking for evidence of biblical miracles. Miracles are in the eye of beholder. I'm sure if Criss Angel was somehow transported some 2000-3000 years into the past many would regard him as a god. The truth that I want to know is devoid of illusions, misdirections or anything designed to appeal manly to my feelings and not to my mind. If something is the truth then its both beautiful in its own right and logical as well.

I hear you man. Heck if you were closer we could talk about this for hours, so much of what you said is reflected in my own story its unreal, then again I guess many ex witnesses have been through similar experiences so its good that you are here. I really hope in part two you say you managed to save your family from breaking apart, which is something I failed at. Rift was so wide and deep that there was nothing else to do but to move out. Which is the easy part but having a child or children in the middle of it all is more painful than I could have ever imagined. Man, I'd sign up for bearing pain on myself any day than seeing my child suffer. They are torn between two parents and now between two worlds. They want to love both, please both and see family together. Earlier tonight my heart almost stopped, I've had a phone call from my ex and in background I could hear my little one singing in her own way to Family Portrait song. If there was ever a moment my heart missed the beat it was then, you forget to breath and there is something big you are trying to swallow that doesn't wanna go down.
Nowadays we have shared custody and she herself have pretty much gone to what witnesses term "verge of the truth" by only being to sporadic meetings, more like once every 6 months from what I hear and have recognized all the bloodshed illustrated in "Bible Stories" and other "kids publications" so most of that is no longer there, but there is still that thing, of similar "on the verge" witnesses being main visitors, swinging between two different worlds, mostly mentally still in watchtower whilst trying to reconcile everything that they don't see fit and trying to live "normal life" and in the middle of it all my baby listening and trying to make sense of it. Man, that is not the place for a child to live under, so I'm making my move to stop this madness altogether. Anyway we should talk some more. awildflower loved reading your story too. Until people start opening up you don't realize how many share the same experiences. -

cases of syphilis have increased four-fold in britain thanks to facebook, argued a u.k. professor, as users meet up for unprotected sex.

Thank you awildflower
Will is a good actor which made it all the more interesting. We've seen him before in many highly unlikely scenarios and he made it all look natural. I think for some reason my favorite scene of him would be from Independence Day where he is picking up newspaper off the street then looking left and right at people fleeing before looking right ahead and seeing ufo. Everything that Will is was in that scene, hilarious. Its a good fun, he makes you feel good you spent that money for stepping into his alternative universe, something I can't say for every other actor. -

I think we might yet find evidence of many hominin subspecies. Evolution is hardly linear but branches in many dirrection. The fact that our brunch eventually triumphed may have more to do with convergance of many favorable conditions than our superiority as a specie.

I loved the movie. If you want to give your utmost to people then you want to know they really deserve it, is essentially the plot. It is not unil the end of it that his real motives are completely revealed. It is one of those movies that keeps you wondering what's coming next. I would imagine its not everyones cup of tea, you need to love deep story that is not obvious right from the start
