This kind of stuff is troubling, whenever I read anything remotely like it. I still have family in it that I love dearly, it would break my heart to see them packing up and moving to some cult like camp or something like that. It won't be good.

Alarming statement in today's study article in WT...
by Mickey mouse inparagraph 15: "as we get nearer to the outbreak of the great tribulation, we may well receive some detailed instructions.
our safe journey through those troublesome days will depend on our keeping in step with other loyal servants of jehovah.
" this in the context of a wt discussing the israelites' exodus from egypt and how jehovah had them into a position where there seemed "no way out".

How could an ex-Jw become Catholic
by My Struggle ini don't mean this to be offensive to any catholics in any way and believe that they can have true salvation unlike the jw.
also, i know little about the in's and out's of practicing catholicism, as i have never had any interest in being one.
regardless i am always surprised when an ex-jw says that they have found the real truth in catholicism.

Yes, it does perplex me at times, but then I realize everyone needs to define their own belief system.
For me, I just see religion entirely as group-think and man trying to interpet God. When you add in how many times and years the bible was rewritten and even constructed, it is a wonder that anyone leaving the JW religion would want to be apart of a religion in any way.
But as I am one not to walk someone else's path, these are just my thoughts and if it works for someone else, I wish them well.

Excellent work, V. I mirror what someone said about the best Watchtower study I ever sat through in my life.

Where do I find the numbers of the mass JW exodus cause of 1975?
by middleman inhey yall, i'm looking to see what book/books that show the rapid decline of jw membership, cause of the failed 75 prediction.
i've read from different internet sources it was around 800,000 from the mid 70's to 1980. is there a particular jw book i can find this in?
maybe i could compare the mid 70's yearbooks?

This site doesn't have 1974-1979 but it's interesting none-the-less.
Interesting site. I wonder why there are so many converts in Brazil and Nigeria. I can only imagine what they are promising them.

I don't believe in the JW version at all, but I think there will be a huge global fight that includes Israel.
Jewish Zionist and those behind the scene have been gearing for this final battle for generations. When people/countries start turning on Israel, many people will do in the fallout of wars.
End of the world? No. But a global tragedy that will change the face of things.

One small step at a time. Enjoy your day, watch some movies, order a pizza, read a good book, just relax.
Oh how I hated FS. How can I count the ways. As a little girl, I was deathly afraid of dogs out in the field (even though we had at least one or two at the house) and why wouldn't they always pair my brother and I up in the remote terrority where dogs were running free. How many people let their dogs out on me. I still remember running down the street and leaving my shoes behind. LOL!

Black Angels ?
by moomanchu ini thought of this topic when i was looking at the new memorial invitation.. jesus is pictured, as usual as a caucasian, and there are good reasons for him to be portrayed as such.. angels or other spirit beings however, are also portrayed as only caucasian in the ivory tower literature .. i don't remember seeing any other races portrayed as angels .i threw away all my litterature.. do you ?.
if i'm not wrong, the watchtower is a racist orginazation.. .

A chinese angel is a good example. There are more chinese people than any other group and does anyone realize how many Nigerians there are in the world?
The WTS only started including other races in their literature about 10 or 15 years ago and it was more out of pressure. I still remember to this day being taught for years that black people were cursed people and having to read scriptures justifying it.
But I wouldn't get stuck on it, we already know that the JW religion is all about smoke and mirrors and covering itself when their foolishness is caught.
