- Parents who bring their very young children to R-rated movies. Not only are the kids disruptive, but a 4-year-old has no business watching "Sin City."
When i went to see Forty Days and Forty Nights a mother took three kids 4-10. She then had the gaul to complain to the ticket girl about the movie's content. WTF.

some things confuse me here.
i am in the same position as many where i don't agree with so much the society says and feel stuck dragging myself to the meetings and then feel incredible guilt because the study for the day says it is wrong to have any doubts "even in private".

You say that you want the orginisation to change before going back (if you do fully leave that is). The only problem I see with that is that any Orginisation that claims to be in the 'truth' shouldn't have to change.

my partner in life (26yrs) has been converted to jw by his mother.. i am not one to whine -as very aware many have more troubles in their life.. i suppose one of my fears has been this exactly- as i know he was raised jw and should have saw the "signs.
" he always regularly visited with his mom, which i respected as felt a good sign he had a mother/son relationship.
He must of been very vunerable for his mother to have converted him. I really feel for your situation. I am going through something similar (its a long bow, but I'll draw it anyway. Maybe you should consider publishing your thoughts. It would be tremendously helpful to others.
