  My aunt was DFd and is now back in, drug in her poor husband and is a pioneer. God bless them, but they are a mess. He, almost 60, just got made a MS. Their KH,incidentally, has gone from 5 congregations (!) to 3. Yah,they have massive growth in the PNW.

  Lost my own thread! . . . anyway, I never shunned her and she does not shun me. I am something between a little sister and daughter to her more than a niece-Ithink that has something to do with it. She sounds like such a JW robot sometimes that I just want to slap it out of her- but she was so messed up with other things for so long, that it seems the lesser of the evils of what her life has been. She DID leave and her life fell apart completely, got sucked into every issue imaginable with her family. Most had started while she was IN and her whole life was informed by the borg, so the WT really shouldn't feel proud of itself when lives collapse after leaving. If folks have a good foundation, (religion is part of it, not everything) then merely changing or even quitting a church should not send one into a spiral pit of destruction.

  I think it says more about the general attitude of Muslims and Jewish people that in the heart of Paris, 2 Muslims were working in a Jewish(kosher) market and that one of them actually made a fairly successful rescue possible that would not have been otherwise.  Those criminal terrorists WERE  extremists. They weren't normal Muslims.

  Nothing can excuse what those men did at the newspaper or the market. It wasn't self defense and it didn't "defend" Islam in any sort of way. All it did was make average Muslims a bigger target for haters.

  Kingdom Consolidation and Sales are coming – Reliable Source

  i heard form a reliable source that a kingdom hall consolidation is going to be happening in the us.

  currently they are looking at every kingdom hall to see if they could and should sell it.

  any kingdom hall that has not been updated and is in a bad location (long driveway, not in a visible location etc...) will be sold.

  I think they are going to slightly consolidate(lose the nastiest buildings and see how much folks will put up with-test the waters), build up more than they need to (cost is no object we want to be convenient toeveryone so that no one has to suffer to get to the meetings!!) and make everyone happy with pretty new buildings then seriously consolidate(a created crisis or imagined persecution-basements may become involved), getting rid of many of the fine, new buildings at a profit as they were built with donated labor. Elsewhere on this board we heard of how they are going to build buildings that had more street appeal (commercially viable in good areas!) It really all makes sense from a business standpoint, since they are, after all, a business to make money.

  we have spent the last few weeks in training at the montgomery facility (near walkill) there are 6 couples that were trained to go on the road as ldc field representatives of the branch.

  Vidiot's right. It is the same in any cult. Take the people who want the rules the most, give them a lot of indoctrination with very little actual knowledge or study, tell them they are brilliant and pious for knowing (whatyou want them to believe)  and you get al-quaeda. The Taliban, and ISIS. You get the abortion opponents who threaten the lives of, or kill doctors or journalists that oppose them, you get nazis and you get fundamentalist extremists of all stripes. The WTis playing the game the way all cults do. The WT elites (at all levels) are getting what they want out of it now. I don't doubt tht they will grasp for more-cause that is what all the evil villians do,right?

  sorry, i messed up before i could put the right title on this new light from our circuit overseer, his visit show's a great desperation in the organization's mindset, adding more anxiety and guilt to jws who already feel they don't measure up!.

  hi, i attended the circuit overseers visit and got really angry because our c.o.

  gave information coming from the governing body's chief apologists regarding "meeting attendance" and "the couple who missed one meeting and lost their entire family because they did not get the "411" when armageddon was coming!

  two are jw's from vancouver lower mainland.

  this b--ch started the business in vancouver and then took it to washington.. here is the list of defendants.. lls america llc, debtor.

  I think the Dills were a prominent JW family 35-40 years ago in W. Washington. . . Name is odd and very familiar. I seem to remember a round, bald headed man, but that could just be a visual that seems to go with the name.
