Just a thought. If you believe 90% of it is true, why do you believe you will "turn away"? If you are happy with your beliefs and JW culture then why are you

visiting the site and reading this information? You have the choice NOT to visit this site.

Nobody will force you to leave the JWs and if it works for you and honestly makes you happy, and believe that you will be "giving up life" by leaving the WTS,

why on earth would you leave? While I personally believe it is a pile of poop, you have the right to practice whatever religion you like.

scientist. As for the interview with "Booby Behe", all of his nonsense has been debunked by the community, where he now has very little credibility.

i thought with all the anti american threads by simon and others this is a story everyone can identify with.

as the good book says'there isnt a greater love than when a man gives his life for his friend'.. robert cook saved an australians life when he shielded her body from the impact in a skydiving plane accident.

the accident happened in missorie and kimberly the australian will be in hospital for around ten weeks.

in another thread someone quoted a recent wt source that said the use of the cross in illustrations was abandoned in 1936. i came across this booklet "what is truth?

", written by rutherford in 1932. it shows christ on a stake on page 56:.

Should we be concerned?

i was just thinking that there maybe a dark future ahead.. i hope i am way off but you never can tell.

we have all seen a lot of talk recently about the end is near, etc.... yes, i know they have always said it.

but they were never in this bad of shape, shrinking membership and funds.

I see no reason for concern over regular "baseline" levels.

We need to remember the WTS is at its foundation, a very successful "publishing corporation" with hundreds of thousands of "employees" on its payroll. The WTS is not suicidal . They are actively expanding and planning for their future. They may be suffering lapsing membership in North America and Europe, but they will more than make up for this with their inevitable expansion into South America, Africa, former soviet bloc countries and likely China in the near future.

P.T. Barnums insightful and immortal words "there's a sucker born every minute" will keep the WTS in business well into the distant future.

KM citing scriptures that don't exist...

does anyone remember the km a couple of years ago that cited a scripture that doesn't exist?

it was something like 2 tim 3:36, and they had mixed up 1st and 2nd timothy.

i was telling a sister about it today, and i think she didn't believe me.
