---if you believe what oroborus21 (aka -eduardo leaton jr., esq.
) claimed on an earlier thread in a different section.
that statement actually was off topic and that thread is so long i didn't have the patience to wade through and challenge him on it.
Hee hee, gotta love old oroborus! He certainly has his hands in a lot of different pots!

palmer: i don't know.
i mean, for me... i need proof.. palmer: proof.
ellie: yes, very much.. palmer: prove it.. [source: http://www.turning-pages.com/contact/machine.htm].
That was exceptionally eloquent Jim
Although I dont share your viewpoints, I only wish more people could express their personal philosophies which as much clarity and focus as you have.
not the kind of death, but actually dying?
not trying to be morbid, but for now, it is a part of life.. abr.
Not even remotely. Even at this relatively young age, I know I have led life to the fullest and have accomplished some remarkable achievements in my neuroscience research career. Much more to be done, but I would be happy with my legacy as it stands if I were to go tomorrow. We go around once, best make the most of it!
when it comes to believe its all about what is believable to you.
so this is not a question for believers in god, i mean if you are a believers (you think that there is a god) or an agnostic (you think that there might be something very unexplainable yet) the one i want to get into it by giving there reasons are atheists.. it feels comfortable to just follow what scientists are saying (it is supportive because they are able to explain some science) but by now about evolution its only about concept related to science to explain a possibility, but there is no scientific proof in facts.. why is it more believable to you that we are the result of a big bang which would actually comes out of something very tiny full of development codes?
i guess from that, that it would still mean that there is something bigger than just that (like believers or agnostic do think).. so why are you atheist?
Why is it more believable to you that we are the result of a big bang which would actually comes out of something very tiny full of development codes?
>We are not the "result" of the big bang, the Universe is the result of the big bang. We (and all biological lifeforms on the planet) are the result of evolutionary processes over millions of years. Regardless, at the very least, Astrophysicists have found VAST amounts of empirical evidence demonstrating that the universe did indeed result from a "big bang" like phenomena. Do a google search. One obvious piece of evidence is cosmic radiation, which is clear, irrefutable evidence for an expanding universe. On the contrary, you have ZERO evidence for a god, save for some ancient books of fairy tales and myths written by wandering desert nomads, 2000 years ago.
"Scientists are giving into it ....and from most TV show on the matter scientists can’t really state that there is no creator. "
> TV shows? Is this where you have received your education in evolutionary biology or have you made a serious effort to educate yourself in molecular, biological and anthropological studies and evidence that clearly demonstrate the evolution of life on this planet. What "scientists" are you referring to because the only creationist scientists I have recently heard of were being interviewed in the WATCHTOWER.
"They are just saying that some things do evaluate and that they have an idea from what (but not from the start for real) … Nothing more … "
Silly nonsense. You are either being intentionally deceitful or you are simply completely unaware of the hundreds of thousands of RECENT discoveries that have been made in ALL fields of evolutionary biology. There are THOUSANDS of publishe, peer-reviewed articles demonstrating irrefutably the process of evolution. We have nearly COMPLETED the entire evolutionary tree for homo sapiens, not too mention the recent discoveries for TRANSITIONAL lifeforms that fill the evolutionary gap between birds and reptiles, and fish and amphibians:
"The how from the start is unexplainable there is no explanation about how comes for real? If everything comes out of a big bang it would just means that science/molecule is creative … doesn’t it look like a silent God at least?"
> Nope, not at all, and why should it? What logical reason does interjecting some fictional, hypothetical "god" creature serve our understanding of the universe? None whatsoever.
> Um, actually they have. See above.
" You can’t believe that God does exist because of our situation (means that you feel that if God would exist we wouldn’t be in such situation which allow many to suffer in many ways) to the point that any belief in this matter sounds like bullsh*t. So it must be something else so it’s all science … but what is science then?"
What is science? In brief, science is the reason you are not living in a cave somewhere wearing animal skins and grunting around a firepit. Its also how you are communicating on the internet right now. For the record, most atheists I know dont blame god for anything. Why would we blame something that does not exist? Atheists believe that humanity is ultimately responsible for its own fate, outside the confines of some tribal inspired, wrathful sky-god.
"and if I'm wrong about any scientific proof (means no real proof) tell me."
Unfortunately, and with all due respect, pretty much every single observation you made about science and evolution was grossly misinformed and betrayed a complete and utter misunderstanding of even the most basic, high-school level principles of biological evolution. I strongly suggest you apply yourself to seriously studying the evidence for evolution, not through the prism of supersitious, religious fear and ignorance, but via a genuinely scientific mode of education. A trip to your local library and signing out an introductory biology text book would likely be the first place to start. Or even www.talkorigins.org
your intentions are good - entirely manly.
you step into the shower intent on grabbing a skin-drying manly soap - dial or zest or similar.. then it catches your eye - that little 'womanly scented' bath-bar.
you try and reach past it - to get the large man-size bar on the soap tray - but inexplicably you pick up the lady's perfumey soap.
"Kid A....what is that soap you are talking about....?...didn't see the advertisement."
It shows up in the advertising bar underneath Jeffs first post, at least on my windows frame.

Those soaps from Body Shop that smell like pineapple......hee hee hee, but I am allergic to those flowery ones and go into sneezing fits!
Funny that an ad for "Savon de Marseille" pops up on the thread! That stuff is the MOST incredible soap I have ever used. When I was in Marseille I bought enough to fill a suitcase!!! Its incredible for the skin, smells awesome and men and women love it! A must purchase if you are ever in Marseille or Provence.
i just read the mary/gumby where are they thread.
i want to say right from the start that i like gumball very much.
i've talked by phone to him in the past and we've had some discussions here over the years.
"For now, he feels he can handle it. He took his grandson golfing the other day and I believe it was one of the happiest days of both their lives."
Thats good to hear Mary. Lets hope he can do a successful fade if sitting through meetings, book studies and conventions becomes unbearable.
I have no doubt Gumby has his personal reasons that we cannot understand. I wish him the best.

At the very best, its like using a band-aid to try to fix a flesh wound. At worst, its like putting out fire with gasoline.
Ultimately, it is a decision that will possibly postpone disaster, but not prevent it, once all the simmering resentment underneath reaches its boiling point.
IMHO, its nothing more than an attempted validation of false premises, false beliefs and artificial, conditional love between the JW family and the DFd person.
Nevertheless, its arguably the most brilliant tool of emotional blackmail at the JWs disposal.
just saying i have noticed them not around the last few days.

Geez I dont know whats more disturbing....the fact that Gumby-meister is reinstated or that our beloved Uncle Bruce is now posting at that cyber-toilet-bowl, JWO....lol
