  i so loved the post of the kitten the other day.

  i checked-out this week and drank three bottles of gin, even though i stopped in toto four months ago, my wife is out of town.

  please do not post anything about counseling here as i have tried that and am on lots of meds.

  My new goal re new Generation light

  if the 'new light' on 'generation' discussed earlier is accurate then it certainly will move me to continue on in my ministry.. i was slacking off because i thought the preaching work was near complete without growth!

  now i can be confident that in 10 or 20 years the society will simply announce that a new batch of brothers have started partaking, the generation will continue and it is a sign that jehovah has provided more time for people to come into the truth!.

  The topic of the 144,000 is one of my greatest pet peeves. It is so ridiculous and getting worse.

  The Society insists that 144,000 is a literal number.

  The Society insists that every member in the first century congregation were of the anointed.

  Josephus said that there were between 500,000 and a Million first century Christians!

  TOTALLY IGNORED!!!

  Wife vented tonight!

  my babe (wife's approved nickname) finally vented today because it was her birthday, which we couldn't acknowledge, and she feels really emotional that she never had a chance at a real career, may have wasted her life, etc.... she may be coming around a bit but now this is really uncharted territory!.

  ironically i'm getting through to her but it's scaring the bajeebers out of me now!

  Thanks everyone for your concern.

  She feels better today and we had a good talk today about how we would approach life and raising our kids if we 'ever' left.
