I suppose I was. I was friends with the two most prominent, elder, elders' sons. I was buddies with the crazy, really hot, fringe girl in the cong, who was dating the most prominent of the elders' sons. I got invited to all the teen events. But my family was not ever invited to the ski trips or anything like that.

No school again today
by Mulan infor the second day in a row, the schools are closed because of the snow.
very strange for november.. it is collllddddd today and the roads are solid ice after the bit of a thaw yesterday.
another big snowstorm hit last evening.

Daystar I'm listening to the news now and the temp is supposed to drop by as much as 40 degrees in a couple hours some time Thursday afternoon and not get out of the 30's and then warmer by Saturday.

Just What Is The WT Up To Now?
by lovelylil inhas anyone heard about what is going on inside the organization these days regarding those who claim to be "anointed" christians?
i have had at least three different people now who live in different areas of the country tell me that the elders are systematically pushing out people who claim to have become anointed within the last few years.
these would be younger ones who are now professing the heavenly rather than earthly hope.. i find this interesting for several reasons.

Have you seen the recent change in the Jan 1st 2007 watchtower? New Light has told the GB that it is no longer necessary for anointed people to be on Earth when Armageddon comes, like they previously taught.

Cloudy and nice here in Dallas supposed to hit 80 today and then WA storm hits here thursday with a hard freeze upper 20's and cold friday and then back to 70's for the weekend. I wish it would snow
Check the weather again. It's not supposed to get over 55 degrees here until next Friday, Dec. 08. Get ready to deal with a bunch of idiots on the streets. Either they utterly have no idea how to drive on it and can't get over 5 mph, or they think they're impregnable in their SUVs and go 60 mph over bridges.... and then brake!

What bothers you more, snakes or spiders
by free2beme init is pretty common among us humans to have an issue with one of the big two.
we either have a discomfort with them, or just dislike them all together.
personally, i am not real against being around either, but if i had to choose which one i see in a more negative way, it would be spiders.

Little ones don't bother me in the least. I keep a respectful distance from the larger sorts, except perhaps tarantulas since they're just so cuddly.

recomnendation of show / movie to see

Oh, and zev, firefly and Serenity were great. I never did watch the series. But when I heard the film was coming out, I rented all the eps and my son and I watched them just before the film was released. The film was worth it. What a shame that it was cancelled.

The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury - Animated, it gives some connecting storyline between Pitch and the Chronicles of Riddick movie. This is some serious, hardcore shiznit.
