although it has lost some of it's prior glory and has waaaay too many classes that are televised and billed as "main events", it's still better than mma (sorry to any mma fans; i actually don't mind ufc, i'm just saying that i prefer traditional boxing).. anywho, what is the deal with jws hating on boxing?

Love boxing, Love the guys that enter the ring with their favorite
tune playing, dancing down the aisle, pumping his fist. He get into
the ring with tassels on his shoes, outrageous trunks and hair due.
He is yelling to his opponent. The bell ring, within 3min he is lying
on the canvas, knock the hell out. That,s funny..

by doughnuthole inhi, i'm not new here, been lurking forever, just a new poster.
i was a jw for 25 years, did it all,been out now for 7 years, for the most part have healed pretty good.....but some things can't seem to shake.
the thing i'm most regretful of is raising my children in that cult, if i could just re-do that, i think i could be totally over the trauma of the 25 years i was in.

rich and james out of guilt, richard out of depression.. james and rich were both under 30 years old.. after richard wheelock (a bethel heavy) killed himself the society changed it's stand on whether suicides could be resurrectioned or not..

Yes I guess it,s hard too move on. Lets see, we tried the narrow
road that led too everlasting life, and the whole time I was A JW
very few would admitt they were on that road. I miss the the
neurotic, egotistic, dogmatic GB...The whole time I was A JW,
I didn,t know if I should eat or poop.
You know he may be right, because there is A danger to
think for yourself. College is very dangerous, critical thinking can
lead you off that narrow road. Hell, I have been on the broad
and spacious road for some time now, and I,am having the time
of my life, sorry , I think I am having the time of my life.
