I have a heap of quotes at
http://jwfacts.com/index_files/Page779.htm
that show only JW's will be saved.
The mags are too politically correct to state that directly, but it is often said in a round about way. Consider the following reasonings;
Anyone in bablyon the great will be destroyed - ie anyone in any false religion
Anyone that does not call on the name of Jehovah will be destroyed - who uses that word except JW's
The flood corresponds to baptism to jehovahs organisation - 1 Pet. 3:21
Only 8 people survived the flood out of a population of probably 1 billion
Many JW's find it hard to cope with such a teaching and privately believe that there will be a mass conversion, or that God will save some non witnesses. The following article shows this is not the case.
Watchtower 1997 February 15 p.29 Questions From Readers
“The Watchtower” of August 15, 1996, said: “In the final part of the tribulation, ‘flesh’ that has fled to Jehovah’s side will be saved.” Is that suggesting that after the first phase of the great tribulation, many new ones will come over to God’s side? That was not the point being made. …

by golden age init is all over the net that in 1935 rutherford got a flash of light stating that his followers would start to have an earthly hope.
the great multitude that is.
and that prior to that there were some classes of earthly salvation but it did not appear to be his followers that would be involved in that.

I have always wondered what is the best way to stop non believers from becoming involved in the Org. No one that has ever worked with me would ever become a Witness, with in an hour of speaking totally honestly about the WTS any of my workmates are shaking their heads and muttering under their breath about the poor deluded members.
I have thought about getting on TV but some bitter ex JW on TV often ends up being good publicity for the WTS. Publicity like this really helps get the message out though, and the WTS is shooting itself in the foot. By this law suite the WTS are getting people alerted to the internet as a source of information on Witnesses and is a sure way of keeping people free from their shakles. -

Rutherford was continuing on at the time with Russells teaching that almost every worldly person gets into the new system. JW's (bible students) went to heaven, the worldly onto earth.
It changed briefly that the good JWs were the 144,000 and the not so good JW's were the great crowd in heaven.
Eventually the great crowd were moved onto earth, a great concept from Rutherford, as it then meant all worldly people could get killed at Armageddon. This theory of narrow salvation from Rutherford was the real beginning of control over JW's and why many consider it a cult.
Even after 1925 went unfulfilled there was still the teaching for a while that the worldly people survived Armageddon. See Deliverance - Final Battle of Armageddon (1926)
I have written an article about millions now living at http://www.jwfacts.com/index_files/Page720.htm that contains some quotes. -

If you asked many JW's, how far can the new system be?
by JH ini wonder what would be the average answer?
less than 10 years from now????.
back in 1990, i remember a talk during a convention, the brother said that the end was less than 10 years away.... ha

I agree with fleaman, this is by far the best time to ever be alive.
Remember Russell said that the 1890's were so bad the Bible Students were doubting the system could survive to 1914. End of the worldists love to wallow in the selfpity of their miserable lives waiting for something better to fix it. -

The latest JW pick up line
by DevonMcBride inthis week, one of my adult students told me a jehovah's witness knocked on her door and said he was there to teach her about "travel and tourism.
" not realizing who or what he was, she listened further and he went on to say that god had a reason for natalie halloway's disappearance.
at that point she told the old geezer she wasn't interested and closed the door.. i told her she should have asked him to ask god how to get the lowest prices on airline tickets.

I loved witnessing because i knocked on every door hoping to get picked up. I got invited in by a lot of great looking people, but was too naive to be able to tell if I was actually being picked up.

I remember being taught that everything was made less than 42,000 years ago (six 7000 year days) and dinosaurs were impossible. Now it's ok to admit dinosaurs were real and could be far older than 42000 years. Eventually JWs will believe man has been around 100'000's of years and that it still proves Genesis is true. People believe anything if they want to.
I look forward to Jurassic Park, it cant be too far away. -

One of my friends used the line one morning 'i'm here to tell you you have won the lottery' When the householders eyes popped out of their heads he'd say 'not really, but i can offer you everlasting life'.
He didn't stay a Witness long, loved fun and people of the same sex too much.
