  page 1 of the latest watchtower magazine drops a bombshell.

  in paragraph 2, speaking of the pre-flood world in noah's era, it states: "the world that perished was civilized, with cities, artistic achievements, scientific knowledge.".

  Of course you're right RF when reading the passage literally. What I meant was that if the creative days are "interprited" as more than 24
  hours then it would stand to reason that the day of dying would/could be likewise.

  Zecharia Sitchen has written some interesting articles on the subject of the sexual inuendo. He implies interbreeding between early humanoids and an alien race. I'll see if I can dig up one of his articles. It's entertaining if you like that kind of stuff.

  All but the most fundie fundies understand the "days" of creation as not being literal 24 hour days, but an extended period of time. Seems reasonable that the day in which Adam would die would also be an extended period.

  Actually, some scholars are of the opinion that there are several euphanisms in both the old and new testament that refer to masturbation in a positive way. "Covering the feet" is one that comes to mind in the OT. I understand that it was customary for the Jews to cover their feet with a cloth in order to keep from splashing semen on them. Could apply to taking a leak also.
  The term "getting hold of ones vessel" is said by some to refer to masturbation as a means of preventing fornication.
  There are several more. I'll try to find them if you;re interested.
