But on the bright side I can now stalk you via email ;-D I'm sure that's what you've always wanted!
Everyone feel free to post any books they no longer want/need.

Recovering from Meeting Withdrawl
by Nosferatu inafter i quit going to meetings, tuesdays, thursdays, and sundays felt really strange.
it was so weird having all this time to myself that i never had before.
it took about 1-2 years for me to fully adjust to this new found free time.. anyone else experience this?

Me too!!
I would find myself getting really anxious about an hour before the meetings normally started. Kept on thinking that there was someplace I needed to be! LOL
It stopped after a year or so.

In an attempt to get organized I'm clearing out a lot of my possesions. I have several books that I no longer need and would like to pass them on to people who could benefit from them.
I have to give away;
Toxic Faith - Experience Healing from Painful Spirtual Abuse. Authors Stephen Arteburn & Jack Felton ISBN 0-87788-825-6
(I purchased this used and it has been heavily highlited in some passages and has some margin notes by the previous owner)
The Courage to Heal - A Guide for Woman Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse. Authors Ellen Bass & Laura Davis ISBN 0-06-096234-8
(Also purchased used, has highlighting on a few pages but it is very, very minimal)
I'm proposing an exchange program where;
-The giver will cover the costs of mailing them pretty much anywhere within reason.
- The person receiving the books will pass them on in a similiar manner
OR
- offer different books they no longer need to the board in the way
I think this good be a good way of passing on info that helped us out when we needed it. I know that there are oodles of books that I would have loved to have gotten my hands but couldn't afford at the time, which is why I am willing to cover the shipping costs.
Or it could just be a way to get all our summer reading lists completed faster : )
Pm me if you want one or both. I can recieve PMs but can't send them so include an email address if you want a reply back.

You are never to old to learn, you are never to old to go to school.
What interests you? What do you enoy doing and learning about? Go check out schools in your area, pick up college calendars, bookmark their websites and search through them.
Many schools in my area allow a potential student to attend their choosen program for day and shadow a current student. It's a great way to emerse yourself in the experience and ask tons of questions.
I was 27 when I went to massage therapy school and was surprised that I wasn't the oldest one there. When I got my math and sciences this year (at 30) I still wasn't the oldest one. I 'm going to school once again (I can't seem to stop learning!) and can't wait. It teachs you so much about yourself and a whole new method of thinking and reasoning.
I've found schools to be very flexible and compassionate towards students with special needs as yourself (not being able to sit or stand for long periods) all you have to do is ask them about it.
There are many ways to pay for school. Student loans, lines of credit, scholarships (this is my fav!) So worth it for the end result.
Best of luck, please don't deny yourself the opportunity.
