No way do I tell people. currently the only ones in my life that know are my boyfriend and his family. I'm getting braver though so maybe I will start.

But if you do have a friend she could marry, let me know, because the alimony is killing me (and yet, it's worth every penny). Giggling and snorting over here!
After I was first D/F one of the sisters in the KH would come thru my checkout line and while careful avoiding eye contact with me chat the entire time about how much my mom missed me and how how much pain everybody was in over me leaving. The thing is I didn't leave! you all kicked me out! What about my pain & me missing everyone?
Blackmail sucks and doesn't work on me.

Accept the fact you are different, and keeping it in mind will help you work around it.
Thank you Dave. I am going to make that my mantra for the next few days. I shall embrace my inner Dork and introduce her to society.

What we ( or at least I am ) are saying is that you seem to have relaxed with girls abit. That's a good thing, it also seem to have made you a bit more confindent and happier. So keep it up! I like it better when you are happy

My knee hurts when I *don't* run.
by Elsewhere in.
i like to run, but if i ever go a week or more without running my left knee starts getting very sore.
once i go out an run again the pain will go away so long as i keep running every other day.. anyone have any idea why this would be?

As our joints age we lose some of our flexibility & the synvial fluid in the joint causing pain because the joint surfaces get closer together. Running (or walking) causes a pumping action which encourages the joint to produce more fluid and spread it around. The joint space fills up with this fluid so the the ends of the two bones gets a little further apart reducing the pain.

ps. do you get enough fluids? dehydration can cause this to be worse.

I have come to the realization that I have very poor to non-existent social skills. I have become so scared of rejection ( i wonder why?) that i only let people get so close and only reveal select personal information after literally years of knowing someone.Sometimes when I'm out in public and see someone I know, if they haven't seen me yet I will try and avoid them. WTF! why do I do that?! So I'm hoping that because I know this about myself now and aren't in denial about any longer that it will get better. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about? Any tips to help me on the way? I would like to be able to move my "aquintances" over to the friend category.
So then I was thinking why stop at social skills? What other skills would I like to have? To quote Napoleon Dynamite: "You know, like nunchuck skills, bowhunting skills, computer hacking skills... Girls only want boyfriends who have great skills."
This is what I came up with. 1.I would like to be able to dance without looking like a spaz. 2.Musical ability of any kind would be appreciated. 3. I would like to be the greatest knitter of all time ( I know I'm a dork )
What skills do you wish you had?

Does anyone else flip off the Kingdom Hall when they drive by?
by Dustin inso it has become habit for me to go out of my way when driving to make sure i can give it the finger as i drive by.
i especially like to do this on the way to one of my favorite bars, especially on meeting nights just so people who knew me can see me do it.
i don't know why, but this has become a tradition of sorts.

I don't need to flip them off. I sit in the passenger seat smiling serenly at my former friends, while 6'2, 250 lb, shaved head, goatee sporting, Mr.Fly grips the steering wheel, throwing looks of death, muttering "Crazy Cult!!! They don't know what they're missing by cutting you out of their lives."
AAhhhh, he loves me!
