  They say that the average American saves about 2% of their income... I save almost 20%, more than half of it going into a 401K that I cannot touch without heavy taxes and penalties. (I plan on living it up when I retire ).

  Wifey's surgery went well - she is back home and sleeping it off....

  she was only in the hospital part of the day.

  it is amazing how quickly they kick you out of the hospital nowadays.. she is fine, a little groggy yet, but should be back to normal within the week.. jeff

  They are ridiculusly expensive aren't they? And very teeny-tiny up close.

  There is one couple here that have a white one. I call them the Ken & Barbie couple 'cause they've got leathery tanned skin, garish jewelry and have top heavy bodies ( boobs for her and pecs for him) She comes complete with "Malibu Barbie" platnium hair extensions.

  It's kinda turned me off the car.

  was having a discussion with my fiance today about a time just before we got engaged....there was something he said that shocked me had to do with money.....it shocked me a little coz i didnt think he could be like that.. got me thinking how many of us have this mental image what we think our partners are like when in fact they are not like that.. dont know if this is coming out right????.

  I'm glad things are working out for you sweetie.

  I can be very stubborn as well. It is usually to my own detriment. I am slowly learning that being right doesn't always mean that I won.

  We're all here for you. I love your little updates and I am expecting loads of wedding pictures from the "big day" ( now that you know how )

  at conventions especially, hand clapping annoyed me to no end.

  the first day i was excited and really in the business of clapping and silently condemning those around me who didn't do so.

  i even condemned those who i thought did not clap enthusiastically enough for my tastes.

  this guy works for an internet provider, directnic and is in new orleans.

  he has been posting daily and providing photos and updates of the general status of things there.. surreal to say the least.
