Emotional tension release
by greendawn inwhen you feel emotionally tense how do you release the tension?
by laughing, socialising, playing computer games, or some other way?
for me it's humour really funny ideas come to mind and make me laugh a lot, also by doing some sport such as swimming, listening to nice music and of course by socialising.

Ken,
This JP wrote 1st to Die, 2nd Chance, 3rd Degree, 4th of July, Honeymoon, etc.....! Good old "Pagan" literature.....Of course according to Mom, I started "falling away" when I read Truman Capote's book In Cold Blood.

My youngest brother has been df"d for 30+ years, however he is very comfortable financially........when convient my mother "associates" with him...like when she needs $$$$.
My sister (she's a pioneer her husband an elder) moved with her husband and 3 children back in with my mother 8 years ago....to "Help out" while mom was undergoing Chemo, etc., my mother did all the cooking, laundry, cleaning, etc. After running up Mom's credit cards, getting her to co-sign for car loans, co-sign for cell phones, etc., moved out because the $600 a week my mother requested for their share of the expenses (my bro-in-law clears $1000 + per week). Mom refinanced a $60,000.00 mortgage to $140,000.00+.....to pay off all of her credit cards and the loans she co-signed (don't ask how many credit cards) she had a bad winter....couldn't sell houses.....fell behind in bills. My "Pioneer" sister went to our df'd brother and asked him to help Mom. The elders said it was okay as he had a responsibility to take care of his mother (the same elders that told her she had to take care of her mother who had given her away at 3 months and told her she couldn't divorce our father even though he swung first and asked questions later). My brother bought my mother's house for what she owed on it giving her a life estate in the property and makes all the mortgage and tax payments and does all the upkeep. My sister is disturbed because he gets the house when Mom is gone! Go figure!
As much as you are tempted, don't say anything you might want to take back later! You can be assured you will be the one to take care of you parents in their old age the JW's won't.
PS I stopped sending $$$$ when I found out it was going to keep my sister in the Pioneer service......

Netty,
I got a real giggle out of that one.....except the Bethelite would be sent home so his family could take care of him (as no expense to the WTB&TS) and to ensure that he does his study, field service, etc. etc. etc.

I pour a glass of chilled wine....and curl up with a good book (James Patterson, Jack Higgins, Patricia Cornwell). If I'm really tense......I put on some real tear jerker CD's (usually good country love songs) and have a really good make your nose red cry! Or lately I've been reading threads on the forum......!

Just a couple of questions:
Zagor: Why would he have to have a car to offer a ride? Oops, don't answer inappropriate question
Richie: Do they know he's a friend of yours? Maybe the took fingerprints off the checks?
The only grounds I could see that they might feel they had him on, is he should stay single and not worry about dating or marrying 'til after Armageddon! OH NO! I knew I shouldn't have answered the telephone when I saw Mom's number come up.....she just got back from the DC......and my daughter was out and couldn't ring the door bell so I could use that as an excuse to get off the Phone! Pray for Me...........

!!Fluff!! Richie's Hunting Accomplishments
by RichieRich inbecause i'm bored, i have decided to do a little bit of bragging.. first off, here taxidermed remnants of a turkey i got in april:.
in case you didn't know, turkeys are "graded" by the size of their spurs (black things sticking off legs) and by their beards (black feathers that stick out of their chest).
this turkey had an 8 1/2" beard and 1 1/4" and 1 1/8" spurs.

Hillbilly and Richie,
I agree with you totally. If your shot isn't going to be a clean kill, don't take it. I can remember on one occasion tracking a deed for 3 hours until we could get a clear enough shot to finally put it down. My grandfather hunted in the winter and fished in the summer and ate everything he shot. As my son was growing up, I took him hunting (yes, Mom took him hunting...because Dad couldn't always be counted on to be home to take him!), if he shot it he ate it. One of these days I'll tell you about the Quail on wild rice!
Whoever shot that rabbit wasn't hunting they were being sadistic.......I'd check the area......you may have the next serial sexual predator living very close to you!
Richie that was one gorgeous turkey....I think I'm going to go to a friends hunting camp in Georgia next season and try turkey hunting. I've done Duck, Geese, Rabbit, Squirrel and Deer but never turkey!
