I know it's a little after 5:00 in the evening there, please when you get home tonight could you check in, if you're able. I know no one was hurt today (with the exception of the alledged terrorist that was killed ), but I'm sure I speak for almost everyone at JWDF when I say we worry about you all and the stress you are all going through!

Touche' stillajwexelder.....I'm watching the mother of one of last weeks suicide bombers in tears, explaining that she was not aware of what her son was doing and that she was praying for all of the victims.
If we start stereotyping nationalities, races and religions.....and making them pay for crimes committed by persons of the same nationality, race or religion....then all we've done is let the terrorsits win by disrupting our lives and proving we are just as bad as they are!

in case you need help with the "ministry school" or if you are the talk coordinator, there are all kinds of helpful hints on his website.

I thought dubs were discouraged in use of the internet? Shouldn't these persons be spending more time in Field Service, after all the end is near, time is getting short, we see daily signs of the time of the end of this system of things drawing near!
Oops! So sorry I was having a brain burp and a flashback!

It's been done! But I might be interested if I can have a position on the Board and you don't ask to be buried in a toga!

My 11-year-old daughter is having migraines!
by cruzanheart inokay, y'all, get out your experiences, thinking caps, and remedies.
jennie is 11 (will be 12 in october).
this year she has started to show all of the classic signs of puberty, and a couple of weeks ago had cramps about the same time as my cycle.

I've got to agree with everything damselfy and legolas said! Definately with the avoidance of certain foods! I called my aura....nodes! I would have the vision problems and then two tender spots at the back and base of my skull. If I took something for it and went to a dark/cool room I could avoid the "on your knees, crawl to the loo nausea" I was prone to. I ended up with a script for phorinal w/codeine as demerol made me sicker! They finally stopped when I had my son. A Gyno visit is the best thing you can do at this point!

Irongland that would make us no better than them!
Now they're talking on CNN about the Police conducting random searches of backpacks and large packages. The bleeding hearts are worried about profiling........well too bad, it's inconvenient......but that's what's needed for the safety of all! All sporting events, concerts, theme parks, government buildings, etc. here in Florida as well as in most of the U.S.... check handbags, backpacks, diaper bags, etc. before you enter. You know it's going to happen, so you just allow time for it!

They're reporting on the news here in the States that the young man had a bulky winter coat on and when asked to stop.....ran and bolted the ticket gate (?). Having traveled extensively through the subways (Underground) of New York City....I feel for everyone in London.
CNN is now reporting that they don't wish to close the underground, but it's a damned if you do/damned if you don't situation should more attacks be made tonight or tomorrow! And that contrary to normal, most police officers in London and surrounding areas are armed!
Just know that our prayers are with all of you.....please be observant, careful and safe.....but don't let a few stop you from living your lives! Their goal is to control our lives through fear!
Danielle (my daughter) and I are still going through with our plans to spend at least a week next summer in London! Hopefully we'll be able to meet up with some of the friends from the JWDF!

I would think the JW's would view it like a Prom, bar or bas mitzpah, sweet 16 or coming out party and forbid them. My mother, back in 1967, got around all that and gave a "formal dance" for all of the teens in the congreagations around ours. Formal dress was mandatory....we had baked alaska with sparklers for desert and my father danced to Bobby Vinton's "Blue Velvet" with me to open the dance (it so happens I wore a blue velvet gown my mother had made for me in New York). All of this took place in a fancy restaurant 3 months to the day after I turned 16! BUT it was not a sweet 16 or a birthday party????

When partners lie
by Es inheya all, im in a bit of a situation, i have just found out that my partner lied to me about an incident with his family, i am having a lot of trouble with his family at the moment, which then in turn is casusing major troubles with him and me.
anyway it wasnt the worst lie out and he said he did it to protect me and to avoid another arguement with us which yes i can understand.
but he bluntly lied to me which in the end has caused more problems as i am having major trust issues right now.

Wait a minute.....you listened to his messages....then asked him leading questions, which he didn't answer honestly! And he, knowing the situation between the 2 most important women in his life is rocky, decides not to make an issue of his Mother's uninvited visit and ruin a perfectly lovely weekend takes you out thus avoiding the situation...and not mentioning the phone message.....it seems to me you both omitted knowledge of the phone message...thus cancelling out each other's "white lie".
Maybe he just didn't feel like coping with the situation? Do you live together? Do you make a habit of listening to his personal messages? What is his reaction to this invasion of his privacy? Do you tell him everything? It's bad enough he's got a pushy mother (I had a mother-in-law just like her for over 25 years......made my life hell for years till I gave up and let hubby handle her) he shouldn't have to be in the middle between you and if you want the relationship to continue.....get used to it and let him deal with his mom as he sees fit...and if it means going out and avoiding her visits so be it. If she nails you down about it, just tell her to talk to her son...if she doesn't like something he does, she'll have to deal with it..after all she raised him!
