i have been writing 'my story' in bits and pieces here.
it was pouring out, one of the kids sick, jw husband wasn't going.
i got in the car (this little hatch-back car was a loaner from the garage because our larger car was being repaired) i was stopped at a stop sign and i was on time for the meeting.. i heard something and turned in time to see something coming at me fast.
I've got to ask.....I may have missed it.......did JW Hubby stay with Mom and Dad or come back? Is he still in or did he wise up also? It amazes me what users most of the JW's are and how they very rarely ever give back!
At least here at JWD we may enjoy a good debate and differences of opinion....but if you need something, you'll have it from someone in very short order!

septembers end i am going to santana.... i think i am afraid to drive the car for fear that i will crash and not get to see them.

Truly one of the greatest concerts you will ever attend. Saw him many years ago! Get a room for after the concert unless it's close to home....you will be exhausted!

Richie, you have so inspired me, I've been thinking about going to the DC over in Kissimme (they've been having them every weekend since the last two weekends in June through the first two in August. I may just print up several hundred apostachecks and visit. Wouldn't my mother me so proud of me going to a DC!!!!!!

for me, i suppose, it was badly cooked (i cooked it myself, say no more) crocodile....i'd like to try swan, and if i can find a loophole in the law, i will.

Alligator, Quail, Pheasant, Rabbit, Duck, Turtle, Ostrich Egg (one's more than enough), rattle snake, eel, chocolate covered ants, venison, buffallo.......almost any kind of sushi.....and the normal seafood, beef, pork and poultry!
My son's first kill while hunting was a quail....he brought it home, we cleaned it and I prepared it on a bed of long grain and wild rice.......when I put it in front of him, he cried....ate the rice and never went quail hunting again ( he was 10 at the time and it looked so much like a baby chick, he couldn't kill another one)!

At 36 I found out I was pregnant.....I had just reconciled with my husband after a couple year seperation, our son was 12 at the time and I was enrolled in pre-law courses and working full time for an Attorney! I was not happy with the situation, but......! When I told my then husband his answer was..."you need to terminate it, I don't intend to raise a teenager in my 50's...I have plans". Now bear in mind...I had gone off birth control 12 months prior to this and had scheduled a tubal ligation....which he talked me out of, as it was invasive surgery. His next comment was "you did this on purpose to make sure we stayed together". After I showed him the door......cried for weeks.....lost 20 pounds and went to see my Ob/Gyn....I was told that I needed to take it easy at my age. At 5 months they wanted to do an Amnio...the Doctor's reasoning was if there was anything wrong with the baby it wasn't to late to abort.......as I laughed hysterically and refused the test....I told the Doctor, If that had been an option for me I would have done it at 10 weeks not 5 months!
Every woman has the right to safely terminate a pregnancy should she feel she has a reason to.....I couldn't, but I at least had the option. I don't however feel it should be used as a method of birthcontrol for those too lazy to practice it.
And yes, I am for capital punishment......! But that's a different thread!

i managed to bake bread today and it came out really good.. and i made baklava for the first time and it is sooooooo yummy i will never go to the store and pay for it again.
stupid i know but im really proud of myself and had to share.. lilbit
Not silly at all....it's so satisfying to bake bread and baklava is my favorite desert.....now go back to Billygoats post and check out her recipe! It's fantastic! Made with fresh mint and pineapple rum.......sooo cooling!
