If I had it my way I would get up at nine or ten in the morning and go to bed aroung ten at night. I have no trouble falling asleep and if I do I will take a melatonin and that puts me to sleep. Natural hormone. I like to have a lot of sleep to feel good but rarely get it as someone always has to get up and be somewhere.

I try to show kindness and love wherever I am. I am drawn to the "down and outers", I have been there myself. I do this with no thought of reward. My favourite saying is: Blessed are thoses who can give without remembering and take without forgetting. Live your life so that there will be those that will thank God that you lived. for it is when you give of yourself that you truly give. I have been blessed many, many times.

Hats off to Simon for this board
by truthseeker ini wanted to personally thank simon for all his hard work in keeping this board running, for the better part of six years.
it's not easy keeping track of thousands of members, dealing with their complaints etc, but he's done it.. i know a few old timer's have left, but many more have joined, some of them who held or are holding prestigious positions in the society.. we need this board for the sake of us, newbies and the lurkers.. does it matter if new jw boards appear?
to quote a favorite wt phrase, "not at all!
-
arwen
I join in the chorus with a sincere and heartfelt thank you to Simon. I don't know just where I would be now if I had not found this board....

Dis-association letter
by Suzie inok, i have thought about it too long and hard and came to the conclusion that this really is something that i want to do!
i don't know exactly how to write my letter to dis-associate myself and exactly who i should send it too.
i was readding somethings before that had talked about people sending a copy to there old friends to let them know as well.

I wrote a disassociation letter in June. I sent a copy of the letter from the United Nations website talking about the association of the UN with the WBTS and a brief letter stating that I wanted to be taken off any lists that I was on and that I was disassociating myself. I also stated that if it was announced that I had been disfellowshipped that I would seek legal action. I didn't want them to start rumors that I was disfellowshipped. I also sent letters to some friends that I deeply cared about and told them my reasons why I was leaving. My two letters are on the board here. Just profile my name and you can find them. It is almost like a divorce. I am choosing to divorce the WBTS for their unfaithfullness. I feel such a weight lifted from me. It is a very good thing to do...Do it for yourself.
