I was in Montana at home and since the cable bill wasn't paid I had no TV. I was making the beds and doing laundry when my (1st) husband came home around noon and asked me if I was listening to the radio. "no.. why would i be?" Then he told me what happened. I almost couldn't believe him... it seemed unreal. For 3 days all i heard were radio accounts of the tragedy until we finally went out to eat at a sports bar and 3 of the 5 tvs were showing the tapes of the plane crashes. The thing that just freaked me out so much were the news of the people.. jumping from the bldg!!!

Wouldn't it be a better witness of what a great religion it is and how loving the people are if they did try to not just help their own , which was a great thing, but also to help others as well???? People would then say.." wow.. those JWs were so nice and helped so many people no matter who they were.. maybe we should study with them!!!"

Vaginal Birth or Cesarean Section
by Dimples into all the mommy's out there...did you deliver vaginally or by c-section?.
i was fortunate enough to deliver both my children vaginally although i came close to a c-section with my son.
he was in the posterier position.

All three were Vaginal.
1st one- 7.5 - I went to the hospital at night and they put me to sleep and woke me up in the morning w/ pitocin around 6 am. I was given epidural around 8-8:30 am. She was born at 9.40am.
2nd one- 9.5- went to the hospital in the evening was given a spinal that lasts only 2 hours. 2 hours and 30 min later she was born.. I felt her HUGE head come out of me!!! I didn't want to feel anymore pain so I pushed her so hard out of me that she was swollen and bruised.
3rd one- 7.2- membranes were stripped at dr office. A few hours later went to hospital. They gave me my epidural and then around 5:15 pm they gave me "just a little" pitocin so as not to hurry it up to fast since the dr has a scheduled c-section to get to before me. At 5:35p I felt pressure. Called the nurse in and "wow, The baby is coming now" she ran out to fetch the dr.. luckily he hadn't made it in the c-section room yet.. he came in started putting his arms in his gown and at the same time said for me to go ahead and push.. "SPLASH!" out he came before the dr was completely covered. "you make this look easy" the nurses said. I personnally was just happy that it wasn't another 9lb baby!!!
For me 3 is enough and the fact that now I have 2 girls and finally got my boy.. I am fine.
Kids are now
1st-7yrs old
2nd-5 yrs old
3rd- 10months

31. The Defendant’s main purpose in operating the website is not “fair use”, but rather to try to embarrass the Plaintiffs by quoting selectively from some of the Religious Works in a manner that misleads Internet users as to the teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses in .
But isn't that what they themselves do at every meeting???

What would you do if all the gas dried up?
by jayhawk1 inokay, we know all the gas won't dry up soon, but it sure is expensive.
i got to thinking, what would i do and what would others do if there simply wasn't any gas to buy?
myself, would it no longer be worth making payments on my home and moving to another one closer to work?

The neighborhood would have to get more organized. Maybe set up a schedule of someone to walk to the grocery store each week for the group. People would rely on each other more. Start my own garden. Get together to buy solar power screens.

Are you a blood donor?
by TonyT ina couple of years ago, the red cross had several blood donation trailers set up at a festival .
since i had time to kill, i donated.
it seems like there is always a critical blood supply shortage hard to deal with?
-
Rayvin
Even back in the day when I was strick -no blood transfusions- kinda person. I would and still do donate since I have o-. It was a decision that just because (at the time) i don't take transfusion why should I hinder someone else from living just because they take transfusions.

Would you bend over to pick up a penny on the ground? Or maybe a nickel?
by JH inyesterday evening i was taking a long walk, and then i saw a nickel (5 cents) on the sidewalk, so i didn't even bother to pick it up.
then walking away i was surprised that i didnt even pick it up.
i know that i would never pick up a penny, but a nickel, usually i do pick that up.
