Question for Singles: Tired of hearing the "F" word?

i'm very much a home-body, so i don't go out much and meet a lot of people.

in recent months i've been trying to reverse that and meet more people.. so far the pattern is this:.

meet someone.start chatting and talking.notice a distinct chemistry.attempt to move things to the next level.now this is where things get frustrating.

I'm tired of hearing the other "F" word.. HAHAHA!! In my community it is easier to find the 4-letter word than friends or anything else. Sad state of affairs.

my eight year old daughter has wanted to run with me for a long time.

i had us signed up for a girls only run last winter but we woke to snow so i blew it off.

this year i was determined to find a winter run for us.

in the vain hope that maybe...just maybe things would be better...or at least somewhat improved...i was wrong.

i was told about the al gore dvd that talks about how bad the world is and when i tried to say i didnt want to think about how bad the world is and rather think of ways to improve it they showed me a book about "how to deal with emotions" or something like that...i kind of tuned out right about then.

Sounds tough. It always sucks when you don't get any commendation for your accomplishments and success. However, you have to remember that you're doing all of this for you and not to please or impress them. You're the one who benefits from your own success. Good luck with everything!

Hey, Mini's are almost German nowadays! I agree with Else, I love my Mini. So fun. And great for parking. Mine needs a wash soooooo bad. But everytime I think of it, it rains. Maybe tomorrow after work.

Jehovah Bus

yesterday while driving back from christmas shopping, i saw a large bus like one of those tour buses, it said something on the side but it was in spanish, but i saw that it said jehovah, i asked my wife to translate and she said its says: " find jehovah while you still can" i was like what the hell???

spanish congergation is really out there with their own bus and all.

I've noticed alot of Spanish churches around here in SoCal use Jehovah and have nothing to do with the JWs. Maybe some "iglesia de dios pentecostal". At my company there are a few tenants that are churches with "Jehova" in their name. When I first noticed, I told my mom they could be a breakout movement. hehehehe... I was just stirring crap.

I forgot: Many of the online courses at the college I attend use discussion boards for lecture. People will comment on what was read and respond to each other on there.
