  What's Your Favourite Way to Treat a Bad Cold?

  i've been suffering from a really bad cold, with flu-type symptoms, for almost a week now.

  very unusual for me.. it couldn't have come at a worse time, as i've just started working as a self-employed person, working outdoors in all weathers.

  no sick pay, so no money coming in.. i expect that i'll be ok for monday, though.. i'm right in the middle of making a homemade lamb curry.

  Guy next to him is talking to Dell tech support.

  That was me for 2 months, fighting with Dell over a $79 video card. They sent us the wrong one, and it took 2 months to make them understand we needed a card that would support 2 monitors. This was very complex for them, and required numerous phone calls and emails complete with technical specs and photographs. After 2 months we finally got the correct video card and a refund for our trouble.

  so im in a predicament and seeking help from a few of you willing to make a phone call tommorow to the society during office hours.

  ok so im here in pineville louisiana but were going to be frozen over as of tommorow night and friday night with snow ice and sleet.

  the pipes on our house rboke yesterday because we also had a storm yesterday and the pipes broke overnite so now we have a mes.

  Why would anyone call the society because they're missing an assembly? Is this a joke or are you really that indoctrinated? If my pipes were broken the f*cking watchtower would be the last thing on my mind.

  growing up as a jw i always imagined the new system (tm) as being just like it's presented in the literature (tm).

  i thought we'd all be hanging around with dorky looks on our faces, petting tigers and panda bears all day while we eat fruit and practice our dorky grins.. i've never seen a pic from the society (tm) showing cars or planes (or other forms of transport) in the literature (tm).

  what did you imagine as far as transportation in the new system (tm)?

  Is there a Logical explanation for the spooky things happening at my daughter, Ali's house?!?!!!!

  ok.... looking for some logical explainations.... my daughter, ali, who i've been posting about on the forum...who has developed congestive heart failure.... has had some spooky experiences lately in her house.

  here are a few of the things that happened:.

  about a month ago, ali and her son david, heard noises from the attic above ali's bedroom...that sounded like something was being dragged across the attic floor.
