service totally their way without question.
That's it in a nutshell.

i remember when filling this out some time back that one of the questions it had was something along the lines of......... "do you trust in the "faithful and discreet slave" and recognize it as god's sole channel of spiritual truth?.
someone correct for any needed changes to that question.... why ask prospective pioneers this?.
is there any other reason or something pertaining to any legal ramifications as to why they would ask this?.

haven't been to the local hall for a long time, but stopped in for a service talk for a kindly older "sister" who just passed away.. the new co is to arrive in august and his name is darrell marlowe.
just wondering about him and would appreciate any information.
i'm not planning to go to any of the meetings...just curious if he's conservative or ultra-conservative in his thinking.. brzfst.
Liked him a lot as he was liberal. I had him three years ago.

there are 729 references to the "spiritual paradise" on the 2006 watchtower library on cd.. .
when you were one of jehovah's witness what was it like to live in this "spiritual paradise"?.
we would enjoy hearing about your daily walk with god the faithful slave (genesis 5:22,24; genesis 6:9) and how refreshed you felt at the end of each glorious day in paradise..
The "spiritual Paradise:" Defined by the GB as the current state of spiritual health that JWs experience. What the heck is that supposed to mean? It always translated to being the meetings and service one attended. Oh what a great opportunity those were.

deaths due to watchtower blood doctrine - statistics on one patient population.
to date there is no vetted study of records offering estimates of overall mortality and morbidity attributable to the wts blood doctrine.
vetted literature frequently expresses adherence to the wts blood doctrine as causing premature death and/or disease, but the question of overall mortality and morbidity is very complex and, so far, unaddressed statistically.
Wow that is incredible. And it shows how evil the GB are since they would have a pretty good idea of this. Yet they insist on keeping a doctrine that has such obvious Scriptual holes in it.

I...as in myself, an individual. No longer a faceless person in "God's Organization" but am me, a unique and beautiful person. Someone who can value his individuality while appreciating that of his fellowmen and women.

ok, other than my father, i don't miss anything about being a dub at all.
seriously, i love my life right now, its great, thinking for myself, doing what i want, etc., etc.. i've only been out 3 months, officially, and i find no "void" or anything.
i've got a bunch of great friends on the outside, that i had for years while being jw, and then i have my mother and all her family supporting me.
I know what you mean. I feel the same way. The JW arguments that there is nothing outside the "organization" are simply the cries of people who don't set themselves up properly once they leaveor better yet before leaving. One could leave any group and unless they replace their friendships, etc they will feel isolated.

i've only skimmed the book, but this is a keeper:.
he [jesus] is certainly angry at all those religious organizations that falsely claim to represent him.
--p. 185, par.
One wonders what a comment like that is doing in a book about Christ, a man whose message centered on love and forgiveness.

it's high time i introduce myself.
i feel like i know many of you already, just by daily reading your posts over the last year.
you all have been a support to my husband and i, even though you were not even aware we were even here.
We never meant to quit "cold turkey". But we did. And so here we are, we haven't been to a meeting in a year. It is amazing how easily we were thrown by the wayside. It really hurt, because we were so active and visible.
Wow, this describes my experience to the tee.
Isaac
Let me be one of the first to welcome you here.

from time to time we hear that the ex jws should have organised themselves to a high level and that doesn't necessarily mean setting up another religion in opposition to the wts but some sort of rather secular organisation to carry out that task.
no doubt this lack of organisation plays in the hands of the wts who escape the nightmare of a highly organised efficient opposition.
the rough treatment of ex members in my opinion is intentional and aims at emotionally stunning them to pre empt the possibility of them having a clear mind with which to fight their fraudulent, cultic objectives.
I dream of doing something like this. Of course there are people who have put things together that have been effective like Randy's effort. Perhaps this movement needs to grow organically. And our efforts are making a difference. Perhaps when the time is right....
