JW's on trick or treat night
by carla inhow did your jw families appreciate people knocking on your doors on trick or treat night?
ever answer the door and tell them how pagan they were?
we had one jw house that used to be totally dark except for the porch light so we could read their sign- we are jw's and do not celebrate halloween.

My parents did the original thing,putting a sign on the door that said "WE ARE JEHOVAHS WITNESSES WE DONT CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN"..........extremely embarrasing! AG

it's...interesting.
as far as i can tell from poking around there seems to be a mix of the faithful, the inactive, and the disfellowshiped (like myself).
