i just took a shower (quit looking so surprised) and i was in a bit of a hurry after a long day on my feet.

well, i sling my foot up and over, i say i swing my foot over and up, up, well, not quite all the way up.

i swing my foot right into the lip of the shower door and catch it with my right pinkie toe, hurts like a mutha!

I knocked myself out awhile back on accident jumping to lay down - I had a headache for days after.

I need a VACATION

ever get to that point, where you want to throw your hands up and say screw it?

i'm tired, overworked, stressed and need a break.. just been cruising a couple of last minute deal places and am thinking of cuba.

$400 all inclusive beachfront including airfare.

Now to tie in recent threads, I am a gentleman who loves blondes (brunettes and redheads too) is not a conspiracy nut, does not have a wife with cancer nor do I own pepper spray. I don't mind pictures being taken and shared but you do so at your cameras own risk (This face is deadly to most lenses). I am not interested in loving (romantically) two people at the same time, but am willing to try one as long as she knows what kind of drink she is, but my hopes are shot to h***. Hoping y'all can gimme a ....

Well my hopes are shot to h***...

when my mom-in-law wanted copies of the research i had done, i naiively hoped that because she has always harbored doubts she would respond positively.

they came to dinner last night.

she told me she is upset that i am so hurt and upset.

The fact that you've been able to even discuss any of this with her is a good sign. You never know, give her time to think and process things. It's been my experience whenever trying to talk to anyone still in, they have a "shut off switch" automatically when you mention anything that doesn't support their beliefs 100%.
Agree to disagree but stand your ground and you never know, she may eventually be more open to discussing more with you once she's had some time.

What's this about holding doors for women? I've always thought it proper to hold the door for anyone behind me, regardless if they're a man or a woman. Am I the only one?

I always do this too.

Personally I love when a man treats me like a lady. Holding doors, giving me respect and love; I do the same in return.
It does seem that a lot of the younger guys don't do things like that anymore. I'm not saying only older men still do but that's been my experience.

I got that dreaded call....

my ex sister in law called me this morning to tell me that bother had shot himself.. he was raised a witness but stopped going at 18. he was my favorite brother always level headed and smart.. except lately.

apparently he has been robbing banks in ca this summer.

he led the police on a freeway chase and decided to shot himself instead of go to jail.. now i am wondering how well i know anyone at all anymore.. .

but i'm going to do it anyway.. i was calling around to my ex sister-in-law's sister to find out if anyone knows how to contact my other brother.

the situation is weird.

but my other brother has always been a loner and known to disappear w/o any known residence.

loosie I'm so sorry you have to deal with all this on top of everything with the loss of your brother.
It is weird how unconcerned everyone seems, especially the guy that was your brothers friend. It all sound very heartless to me.
You hang in there, I can't even imagine what a nightmare al of this must be for you right now.

It's morning here right now so breakfast comes to mind.

Warm pancakes with melted peanut butter and real maple syrup is my favorite- with a fresh pot of coffee.

For other things, I'll have to think about it a bit I- have a ton of favorites...
