I asked this girl who I met at originally at Hooters to name three things that would make me want to get to know her better. For me to talk to someone in a way that even resembles this I'd hope that there would be something exceptional about them. Some type of awareness. I think we'll make good friends. These were her answers:
1~I have five other sisters all real and we all look alike.
2~I am addicted to the toy claw machines filled with stuffed animals.
3~I would love to be a missionary.It wasn't the responses. It was that she responded. I got away from a cop and thus avoided a ticket. That was awesome.

I'm 26 and my name is Dominick as in dominate as in master as in yours if you please, hell if you don't please.
I speak my mind more often than not and get into trouble. I have a few tight friends who have managed to look past the gut reaction of offense to the things I say and just laugh. I'm all about learning something. I love conversations with people who read or think. Commonly they are few and far in between.
I speak two languages and want to speak 7 before I die. Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Italian and German added to English and Spanish.
I love challenges and get bored by stupidity. Truly I love people but don't understand them, their choices or their lack of personal accountability. I love smoking cigars because the high is legal and passes quickly enough that I get my mind back.
I love world music. Playing bass is the closest thing I have felt to nirvana save surfing. My perfect day would involve a beach, a board, a bass, some thick thighs, a bong, a steak and a guiness from the tap.
I love sex but get bored with it. I need a connection with the person whose body I am entering for it to make sense to me. After this thick thighs are a requirement, a necessity.
Freedom is what I need for my life to be worthwhile. Not to be too much like Jules from Pulp Fiction, but I'd love to walk the earth like Cane from Kung-Fu and get into adventures. Eventually I will buy an island and daily walk around naked with my pack of malamutes and wolves.
Working out makes me feel human.
My hair is long for the first time in my life and I love it. I'll never cut it.
I love social experiments. I use my size, my skin color and my wit to break down walls so that we are all on equal footing and can have a real conversation without the social barriers that political correctness erects.

My Mother's Being Announced in November As OFF The Pioneer List

conversation she was going to be announced as no longer pioneering.
the co mostly talked about me, my wife and daughter.

Sorry Minimus. What I find from dealing with my mother and grandmother is that threats come from fear. Fear that they aren't living up to Jehovah's high standards and as such are not in line for life. This fear translates to others. They begin fearing that in their self righteousness, their eternal futures are secure but those of family members are not. The pain is further exacerbated by looking for omens that show that God's favor is not upon them especially in advancing years. This is the way of "the truth". I am sorry that your mother who from the way you describe her is nothing but sweet and by way of extension you have been caught in this current.

I think when I first found this place I was posting like a fiend. I pop in once or twice a day now to look for threads that make me think and hopefully re-evaluate myself. I miss thought provoking threads from Terry. GBL is MIA even though I think he reads w/o commenting. I don't see much of Damselfly or Diamondblue. Another poster missing with her former regularity is Ingenuous. I think that in some ways we grow out of posting so much. I know I have.

Perseverance is Key

i go to gym 6 times a week and train for no less than an hour.

This is going to sound sick but.... It doesn't matter how much you weigh. It matters how good you look naked. If you like the way you look in the mirror, that's all that really matters. A scale cannot define body fat for you. Take a body fat analysis and take another six weeks later. That will be a more accurate measurement. Secondarily, make sure your diet reflects your dedication. For myself, I've found that diet makes about 85% of the entire battle. What you are doing is awesome! Good luck with it. It sounds like your attitude will see you through completely.
