  WTBS Inc. writings ".wrong ideas...

  i would like to share with you some points.. when reading the wtbs inc. publications one wonders how it is possible to publish.

  opinions , ideas , viewpoints , understandings etc .

  and present them as ...correct words of truth .. as it was stated, for example in a watchtower article almost 12 years ago :.

  Amazing Survived Major Heart Attack

  i just spoke on the phone to amazing (jim whitney) who is in intensive care in a chicago hospital.

  on monday he had a major heart attack, had a stint put in an artery to unblock things and may have bypass surgery.

  he's comfortable enough right now, but of course will have to make some big lifestyle changes.

  letter was read at the meeting tonight during the service meeting.

  probably because of the dateline thing.. several points brought out, cant remember them all:.

  1) sexual abuse is bad.

  My wife (still an active JW) went to the morning book study yesterday and the BS conductor told them to be careful about watching dateline because apostates would be on.

  This elder is always talking about how bad the Catholics are.

  My wife was thoroughly disgusted because she was aware of dateline and most of the rest of the members of the book study were still in the dark.

  My wife has been hanging on to her shopping cart but hopefully she is ready to let it go now.

  She took her head out of the sand when she found out about WT's involvment with the UN. The hypocrisy of the WT and the lying of JR Brown is the nail in the coffin for her.

  She said she is ready to read Raymond Franz's books now.

  Dateline---That was It?

  well, i am bucking the general consensus here that everything went well on dateline.

  i thought it was fine as far as it went but looking at it through the local jw eyes it will not get what you all and i hoped for.

  the show didn't put proof on all the cases we all know about.

  I think the dateline show was very powerful. It should make any JW who does not have a closed mind think and want to look into what kind of religion they are involved in.

  Anyone even contemplating becoming one will now want to take a very close look at what this religion is all about.

  Thank you Erica, Bill, Barbara and The Pandelos for standing up. You have my thanks and admiration. You were all great!

  Any JW lurkers out there, now you should understand why the WTS wants you to stay off the internet. You might find out about "THEM".

  dateline previewed this tuesday's show.

  my jw mom calls me the next morning to tell me about it.
