i know i'm probably a bit behind here, but i've just read from another site, that the wt has "ordered a crackdown (via the co's to the local elders) on inactive ones........." where's this info come from?
and can someone explain exactly what this means?
Most congregations have elders who know darn well why we left.
and they are not anxious to confront us.
Gary,
Great Post!
at a number of elder's meetings with the circuit and district overseers, over the years, we were told that the governing body loved us.
the gb were said to truly appreciate all of our hard work in behalf of jehovah god and his organization..............i thought thay you would be pleased to know how the governing body feels about us.
A Loyal JW told my wife that one of the Governing Body members broke down and cried during his Prayer at one of the conventions this year.
Has anyone else heard this? If so, what which convention was it and which one of the GB members was it?
This person did not say where they heard it from.
my old partner daryl kunde's father died at the silverdome assembly last week.
it seem's kind of ironic but about 11 years ago when i was still going to the assemblys, we were at the silver dome and 8 old people collapsed from the heat.
[there is not air in the dome] this made me mad and i vented to daryl the monday after the assembly.
We were at the silver dome and 8 old people collapsed from the heat
I was at that assembly and remember it well. One of those old people was from my old congregation.
one of my witness family members agreed to take a look at crisis of conscience, and after.
perusing the first couple of chapters, said that she thought it could be all made up.
agreed that the documents presented could be legitimate, but as far as franz's personal.
Zugzfree,
Welcome to the board.
This link might help you find out what happened to Chitty and Greenlees.

.
your post on http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/54534/4.ashx was just too much for me.
i spent about half-an-hour trying to formulate a few comments on your excellent points, but decided that it would be better just to welcome you to our discussions here, and express my hope that you feel comfortable to share more as time goes along.. craig
Risot,
I too would like to welcome you to the board.
You comment about why you stay was interesting.
I stay to be apart of reform
Whenever I hear someone say that I always think of the following scripture:
• “That which is made crooked cannot be made straight.”—Ecclesiastes 1:15.
i have put up the recent watchtower books on dirtclod.com for everyone's general use.
instead of putting up the entire collection in one large file, i simply broke down the books individually so you can browse them more easily.
have fun!.
Jourles,
I would like to add my thanks for all of your hard work in putting this information up.
The WT society should really be scared of you. If they are reading this site they know you were at the DC in San Diego as well.
The information that can be found on the internet is awesome and "they" know it.
That is why "they" should be afraid of the internet.
just got back from the three-day convention.
some have posted notes here already.
this was my first convention as an apostate as i have just awoken to the wts a couple of weeks ago.
Winston,
Thank you for letting us in on happenings at the District Convention.
I have not seen anyone mention what the Drama was about this year.
Can you tell us what the theme was?
i went to the ggg district a$$embly this past saturday as a courtesy to my wife.
we entered the building just as they weresaying th e prayer.
about the time we had taken our seats and was getting comfortable, my "bullshit detector" tripped, went into high alert and pretty much stayed t here for the duration of the session.
95stormfront,
Thanks for posting these notes. Your efforts are much appreciated.
We are looking forward to the rest of the story.

before july 2002. .
they are always welcome to return to the faith if they reject the improper course of conduct for which they were disfellowshipped.. today:do you shun former members?.
Mary,
Thanks for posting that information in the article from the April 15 th 2003 Watchtower.
I looked at it and found the following statement from that same article on page 6, Paragraph 2:
Paul, a young man from Bastia, Corsica, who was raised in the Catholic religion, occasionally took part in church activities, such as selling cakes to raise money for a Catholic charitable organization. Wanting to have a better understanding of the bible, he agreed to have regular discussions with Jehovah’s witnesses. In time he realized that what he was learning would bring him lasting benefits. Accordingly Paul fully accepted the Bibles values and became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. His parents respected his choice, which has not affected their close family relationship.
This young man was able to change his religion from Catholic to becoming a Witness and his family respected his choice and did not shun him. On the other hand, if a person were decide to leave the witnesses and become a Catholic he would have to be avoided by his former “friends”.
I wonder how many dubs will catch that point?
