  Should I go to the Docs?

  ok, earlier i was sitting here on the pc, when my mum comes in and says it looks like i've got a lump behind my ear, i go and have a look, and she's right, there's a lump one side, but not behind my other ear, so i'm pretty sure it's not part of my skull.

  now i didn't notice this before.

  but after i was told about it, i swear it's starting to hurt... is it worth getting checked out by the doc, or is it one of those things you can leave and it'll go away?

  i can't help thinking that if i had never gotten baptized out of loyalty and fear of disappointing my parents (and fear of having my flesh eaten by birds of prey after being destroyed in armageddon), i would not be in this situation.

  i have several family members and former friends who were raised as jws, but never got baptized, and they never have to experience the angst and pain that i have to experience.

  i was baptized and never dedicated my life.

  I was just talking to my sister about this. I did not get df'd or da'd so my parents and she still talk to me. However, I am not an active jw and have made it abundantly clear that I will NEVER go back and why. She admitted that if I was df'd she would shun me. It is a mere technicallity that I am not df'd so how come they get to talk to me? Mind you I prefer it this way, but just wondering..

  Thanks for putting my mind at ease. We have had THE TALK several times so I feel comfortable that she knows what to and not to do. Rebel8, I like the Happy Days reference, I'll have to integrate that into the next TALK.

  Spanish Translation

  i would like to have a simple message written in spanish that i can put in the car's windshields at my town's kh.

  i notice a large hispanic attendance, esp on sunday afternoons, i think they must have their own meeting then....?.

  what i think would be good is something about mexico/malawi....in spanish.

  My dad was the conductor and threatened to call on us (my sister and I) even if we didn't raise our hands. I said, "Go ahead, I still won't say anything." He knew better than to ever try it.

  Renting movies, did you really chose what was OK for Christians to watch?

  i remember at the hall, there was a speech where the brother said that 90% of movies weren't for christians.

  the way he talked, about 90% of movies had sex in it or violence or anything that christians shouldn't watch.. funny thing is that every time i was invited to watch a movie with the jw's, there was plenty of violence in the movie they chose, and it didn't seem to bother them whatsovever.. gee, i rented lots of movies with sex and violence, and it didn't bother me at all.
