take the test and see .
i remember in high school, i was able to type at 40 words per minute after counting my errors, and they way they counted it, if i remember well, was your total words minus the errors you made to give an approximate speed.. here is the test.
it's only a fun quiz so don't be mad if i type faster than you .

i hope everyone is doing well.. .
is there anyone out there well-versed in the 'shepherd' book and judicial proceedings?.
a wee bit o' background..... i have been 'out' for about 3 years now.
I have a family member who hadn't been to a meeting for about 11 years, who left her husband (never a JW) and moved in with another man (not a JW), who was turned in by her brother (a JW elder) and subsequently DF'd for adultery.
It depends on the elders, it seems.
But I agree, stay as far from the KH and the other JWs as possible, and hopefully they will avoid you, too! Good luck!

i have recently seen one thread about the differences between the witnesses and those other religions.
so i will explain some of my earlier experiences as a catholic and contrast them to the witness experience.. my family was active as a catholic when i was about 6 or so.
we had to salute the flag, and we got to play with other children and go on class trips that also made major markers in life.
She claims Catholics no longer have to go to confession. They dont even call it confession any longer.
She claims the Catholic church is focusing on God's love these days.
Many of the sacraments have changed a bit.
I don't think this is totally accurate. I was looking into Catholicism pretty deeply after leaving the JWs, in fact I was born into a Catholic family and had my first communion at about age 6, so when I went back, I was still considered a 'full fledged Catholic' by the church.
If you don't go to confession, you are not supposed to go to communion. You are supposed to attend every Sunday mass, in fact it's considered a mortal sin to miss Sunday mass (meaning that if you miss Mass and don't get to confession and get absolved of this 'sin' before you die, you will go to hell.)
If you go to www.catholic.org and search for mortal sin or whatever else you want to know, you'll get a lot of info. That site is extremely informative.

right now he is still using a training device called the litter kwitter and is starting to master the act of hopping up on the toilet to use it!

Male kitties, huh? Do they put the seat down when they're done?
What smart kitties! And it takes a lot of patience to teach them, too, so Yay for you!

with the shit going down on this board as of late i'd like to post something really good that happened to me lately.
i got my brother jw brother back.
back in 2001 of this same month i posted about letting jw relatives go because i got tired of the pain of hoping those relationships would be restored when it seemed impossible.
That's sooo great! I'm so happy for all of you!!

we've let our guard down since terry's been gone.
i'm ready to resurrect the infamous spelling post!.
http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/138846/1.ashx.
It is Johns' birthday
Should be "It is John's birthday."
It's a singular possessive - The birthday belonging to John.
If you were talking about two cats eating dinner, you would write, "That is the cats' food." Plural possessive.
I can punctuate, I just can't spell!
